This doesn't make much sense, on the face of it. Why would Raith Rivers sign two players ( one on loan) before the takeover went through ? |
A Swiss international and a loan player from one of the worlds top clubs….coming to a mid table Scottish Championship side….sounds suspicious |
The Swiss International could be a fringe-player (hopefully better than Fredriksen) and a loan player from any club with world-ranking could be someone very far down the food-chain with no chance of ever getting a first-team game.
Play on words on both sides? |

Quote: | The manager makes decisions on who to sign and he decided that the players were at best squad players and would not add any value to the current squad. These same players have been showcased at other clubs in Scotland and have not been offered contracts. |
Just shows the reality of what happened, as opposed to the spin Silverbear put on it - making out that if the club had not dragged their heels, Silverbear could have brought in "quality players" straight away. Could you imagine the scenario if they had actually bought the club first? As Valleyboy and Armagh Rover said earlier, another Anelka model! A near miss - and I am glad the club have drawn a line in the sand! |

It also looks like they want a controlling interest in the football club with Sim still owning the stadium??, I cant for the life of me see why anyone would want to do this at a club of our stature, all in all it smells of bullshit _________________ We dont need no stinking badges |

When I look at Hibs, Aberdeen, Dundee United and the Townies, I'm struggling to identify anything that 'overseas buyers' have brought to the Scottish game. |

John Sim ,it is fair to say, has had mixed reviews on some of his actions and statements. However, the response to Silverbear has been both decisive and welcome.
It's not going to be easy to identify a party whose interests are in unison with the long-term good of Raith Rovers Football Club but ,clearly, there is scrutiny of motives of outfits and a requirement to measure up , as far as can be reasonably judged. |

Christ you couldn't make this up, was his intention to use us to rip off Silverbear clear his debts and then go insolvent, I cant understand why Silverbear if they were serious genuine investors never dealt with us direct |

Just looked him up on companies House and his company have just been served a notice to strike off, which is served on a company about to be closed down due to creditors. |

So that has him joining Gordon Smith, who, is in similar straits, and was his advisor. Pure coincidence? Oh, and Smith’s son is an agent. |

The striking off proposal is at the initiation of Companies House rather than Dellios. It's because the company confirmation statement is overdue and isn't directly connected to any debts the company has.

I can't see them getting any joy there. The Brown family have run a tight ship there for years and i doubt they will be convinced by this lot. |
