Depending how both our results go on Saturday, as well as the tangerines, I wouldn't really be fussed if we chucked Airdrie the 3 points just to keep the Scum well out of the play offs πππ
Given our results against the Pars, I'd be more concerned about meeting them as they'd be looking for revenge and well up for it, whereas we'd be well up for revenge against Airdrie |

Surely the Pars would be due a win against us and I'd much rather face Airdrie in the play off than them. Having our season ended by them in the playoffs would be a gut wrenching finish to what could have been one of the clubs greatest campaigns. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

Long way down the line before we have to worry about that!β¦
For us to lose to Pars in play-off we would needβ¦.
Ourselves not winning league (probable but still in balance)
They finish in play-off position (possible but unlikely in my book)
They win over two legs against what would almost certainly be Partick Thistle (unlikely again)
Couple of days to recover before also beating us over two legs (not gonna happen!)
I will eat several hats if our season ends before theirs!β¦.
*Looking back over that, if we do miss out on title, I hope itβs the Pars we get! Easy travel for away leg, more money in gate receipts v them, get to issue them more pain and chance to beat them 7 (seven) times in a season, unprecedented! |

That'll dae me just braw!ππππ
On the proviso, of course, that we don't snatch the title on the last day of the season at home to the Lichties. There's plenty of space in the top half of the pitch to accommodate one of these π at full time!π _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Looking ahead at fixtures, I think pars still very much in race for 4th. Airdrie's next 4 games are us, thistle, united then pars. |

Aye the Pars have a relatively easy last set of fixtures, we really dont want to be facing them another twice this season, for more damage and carnage to reign even if we did turn them over again |

Nope! 1-0 United after twenty minutes.
Watt buys a free kick and the second ball in is defended "Rover's style"π«£
United now 2-0 after awful defending again just two minutes later π₯Ί
United far quicker and much stronger than Morton. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

That will be that then!
All about getting to the play offs in tip top condition, up to the manager how he goes about it, balancing act of keeping everyone fit and ticking over without losing that competitive edge.
Not feeling too much doom and gloom, Utd ultimately deserved it, up to us to clear the heads and prove we deserve to join them⦠|

United cruising in this game without playing any decent football of note. Fair bit of hoofball from them but far sharper all round. Morton are indeed a real gang of maulers and muggers. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Considering we shat the bed against them we can have no complaints. Manager seems quite content with our season. |
