Congratulations to Falkirk on winning league one.
Being realistic it's more than likely we're going to be playing each other next season.
Well done to John McGlynn and Smudger.
They are on Alba at 5.30 tonight.
ETA. I don't speak Gaelic but understand a few words. However, I wasn't aware that "Raith Rovers" was part of the language! Every second sentence seems to contain these words in tonight's commentary.🙂
Mind you there are currently huge links with the Rovers at Falkirk.
As well as the management team there's Tom Lang, Brad Spencer, Ethan Ross, and Dylan Tait. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Whilst it would be great to see John & Paul back at Starks, I hope we are not playing them in the league next season! _________________ http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/ |

Chuffed for the management, they were hanging by a thread after missing out on promotion last year, large number of Falkirk supporters wanted them gone. I doubt many of our own fans are shocked that Lang and Spencer have been two of their stand outs in League One.
A resurgent Falkirk replacing a dwindling Arbroath will no doubt make the Championship a tougher place for the other sides in it next season. |

Our remaining fixtures…
Ayr (h)
Airdrie (h)
Partick (h)
ICT (a)
Morton (a)
Arbroath (h)
Dundee Utd remaining fixtures…
Queens Park (a)
Morton (a)
Ayr (h)
Airdrie (a)
Partick (h)
Not dissimilar run-ins, advantage Dundee Utd and hard to imagine them dropping any more than 5/6 points, hope I’m wrong but can see then winning at Hampden, beating Ayr at home while Thistle won’t have much motivation come last day as it’s likely they will be saving themselves for play-offs so that looks a home banker. Morton and Airdrie (who face each other on Sat) on other hand will still likely be battling for 4th and can hopefully do us a favour…
Over to ourselves…. “one game at a time” is the old adage for players/managers but that’s not us fans! Ayr is a must win, one of our easier ties on paper…Airdrie? We are hopefully due a win here…another must win probably. IF we HAVE won these two then Partick won’t come to Kirkcaldy with much to play for positions wise but another tough fixture….Inverness will hopefully be confirmed as 9th before we visit but unlikely so they will be battling for survival….again, a trip to Cappielow? we all know how tough that will be, especially if they are still in running for 4th….another battle. Arbroath at home last game? A great one to have if it even matter?…
I’m predicting Dundee Utd to finish on 72pts
We can reach 76pts with max points which would leave us needing to win 5 out of the 6 games! Think we are play-off bound!
If anyone even read all that, cheers, just bored and pondering, likely end up being mostly wrong and pretty irrelevant! |

People will look back and say we really needed something from yesterdays game.
It's not over yet, and I still reckon it'll go to the penultimate game.
However I too think we'll be left to rue all those points dropped in January and in particular that galling defeat at Gayfield. _________________ Competitive goals: Vaughan 16, Easton 11, Hamilton 9, Smith 7, Stanton 7, Mullin 4, Connolly 3, O'Reilly 3, Rudden 3, S Brown 1, Dick 1, Gullan 1, Masson 1, Millen 1, Mitchell 1, Murray, Watson 1, OG's 1, |

Arbroath awarded a penalty, players argue over who is to take it, penalty saved. _________________ Hope he's got plenty Rovers action to comment on tonight.... |

At least it knocks back out of playoff place for now. |

....and Airdrie will no doubt take full advantage of their game in hand over Dunfermline next Tuesday. |

Hey, SR - I know you admit it yourself, but you really are quite relentless in your negativity/pessimism at the moment. Check your bathroom cabinet in case you still have a couple of 'chill pills' there! |

Methinks a good part of the rovers support are in dire need of some “ chill pills”.

Airdrie are playing a lot of games at the minute, hopefully catches up with them by the time Tuesday comes around..
We are sandwiched between Morton and Pars for them, bit of a mad scramble for that 4th spot! |
