This is only a good result for us if we pick up the three points next week. However, the natives might get a bit restless should we get the opener and who knows thereafter 🤞

Not to mention our game in hand is against Airdrie and if memory serves, we have 1 point out of 9 available so far. Next Saturday may well be important but I would suggest the following Tuesday is moreso

Nonsense.

I’m pretty sure most would consider a 6-pointer in our next fixture v title rivals to be slightly more important than a home game against Airdrie (which isn’t even the following fixture)

For me that will take care of itself when the time comes, and yes, it WILL still be very tough and very important. Let’s hope we have had a couple of positive results before it comes around!

A win up at Tannadice going into the quick fire 3 home games on trot would be monumental while clearly Utd dropping points today means a draw isn’t bad (providing we don’t chuck away 3pts in the process of gaining said draw!j and now, even a defeat isn’t the end of the world.

Exciting times

Embow and RZ, when will you fully buy in to the positive message and believe?
Embow, today's draw at Tannadice is a good result for us, full stop. That assessment does not depend on us winning there next week, it stands on its own

United are bricking it. Win, lose or draw next weekend, Rovers is the class act of this division. United will hugely surprise everyone if they get anywhere near nine points from their three away games at Hampden, Morton and Airdrie.
We will fare better than them across the last six games.

I hope your positivity is more than just hot air. Rolling Eyes .
All to play for yes, but I certainly would not have us as favorites.
We do have to beat them overall on points coz their goal difference is far superior to ours…….which in itself tells the truth about their overall play. Confused

I am hopeful, but not overly so.🤞🤞🤞

Raith fans just have to accept United's result on Saturday for what it is, two fewer points they can accumulate by the end of the season. There will be more twists and turns as IM is fond of saying.

That'll dae me as well.🥹
Seriously, if we are able to come away from Tannadice with the win then I "believe" we are capable of lifting the title.
What a confidence bounce that would give everyone.

I'll put it this way:
If United fail to win the Championship, it'll be because their bottle went and we took advantage.
If Rovers fail to win the Championship, it'll be because we weren't quite strong enough just yet, and United got it by default
Either way, I stand by my view that we have the better players, the stronger team ethic, and the greater one club together mentality.

Tannadice will take care of itself - come what may. As for our game in hand - I would take anyone but Airdrie, but Airdrie it is!

There are so many possible outcomes from the two games. A win and a draw would do us fine. Even two draws would put us above United. But hey - two wins could see us six points ahead of them, with the same number of games played, by next week at this time! Now THAT would be something!

I'm not very good with joined up numbers but if we beat United on Saturday we are two points ahead of them and if we both win the following Saturday we are still only two ahead. Should we win on the following Saturday and United lose then we are five ahead going in to the Airdrie game on Tuesday the 9th April. On top of all this are various permutations involving draws.
Really to be honest let's just literally take it a game at a time and see how things pan out at the end of each game.

British Transport Police are gearing up for this with extra officers on trains and at stations.
