Could be a better use of a wage than Rudi who has so far been almost an absolute passenger. _________________ Competitive goals: Vaughan 18, Easton 11, Hamilton 10, Smith 9, Stanton 7, Mullin 4, Connolly 3, O'Reilly 3, Rudden 3, S Brown 1, Dick 1, Gullan 1, Masson 1, Millen 1, Mitchell 1, Murray, Watson 1, OG's 1, |

We could do a lot worse than bringing Nade back. By all accounts, he did well at Dumbarton last season. So I was surprised to see him drop in to the seaside league with Stranraer and even more surprised that it did not work out for him there. He is not the most mobile player and has had his injury problems but he would provide a physical presence up front and would allow our smaller, faster forwards to play off him. |

Good shout, at least with Nade there will be no purchase fee & he offers a different attacking threat for our strikers to play off. At least Nade will have a chance of winning a long high punt & flicking onto a advancing player |

Makes sense as long as he keeps fit. A sub goalie and a coach.
My favourite Rovers keeper of all time. (I didn't see any before Hamish).
Welcome back gloves!! |

Geez!
I'd hate to see the state you'd be in if we signed a midfield maestro of some renown.
Only time will tell if it's an inspired signing, but nonetheless pleasing in the meantime. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

He won't ever be the keeper he was first time around, but he will be much better than some of the people we have seen between the sticks in recent years - and he has said he will compete for a first team spot. The broader idea seems to be that he passes on his style and knowledge, in his capacity as a coach - and sorts out this abysmal defence. About time somebody did! Shrewd signing from that point of view. |

Aye all them over the hill duffers we've had Gordon Wallace, Berty Miller, Cammy Fraser, Jimmy Nichol.
....and erm Rudi Skacel. _________________ Competitive goals: Vaughan 18, Easton 11, Hamilton 10, Smith 9, Stanton 7, Mullin 4, Connolly 3, O'Reilly 3, Rudden 3, S Brown 1, Dick 1, Gullan 1, Masson 1, Millen 1, Mitchell 1, Murray, Watson 1, OG's 1, |
