Sorry for being pedantic but given the Jimmy Miller fiasco the other week, is there unrefuted evidence/confirmation of his passing away?

Thanks Biggles.
I wasn't doubting the veracity of your post but (as already mentioned) given the event of the other week, just wanted confirmation.
I'm of an age that remembers Jim Kerray playing for the Rovers in the late 50's. A decent inside forward in his day. As a very young lad I'd often get mixed up with my Kerrays and Kellys (Bernie) another fine inside forward of that era.🥴
Given his age Jim must have been one of our oldest former players until his death.
One less for Mr Greer to call on for the Former Player's Association albeit that he lived down in Yorkshire.
ETA. I see he passed away in Forth Valley Hospital so it's likely that he and his wife had moved back north at some time. No matter what, he'll be much missed by his family.

Very sad news.
Before my time, but revered for scoring a double at Ibrox when a Jim Baxter inspired Rovers came from 0-2 down to win 3-2.
Baxter said that was his greatest ever game at Ibrox.
