The Dundee game was the first time I had seen the new keeper. He made a few decent saves but he looked a bit flustered at times, and spilled shots on a couple of occasions. I think I'd still rather have McGurn as the No.1. _________________ This is the year we win the Play-offs. |

Heard today that McGurn had signed a PCA with Dunfermline. |

Thought he signed a 2-year contract last Summer, so that can't be right _________________ A proud member of the 45. Saor Alba. |

Of course it's right! him and Wilson are both off to Dunfermline and that's why they've been dropped or were dropped! Also, Willie Dyer's been dropped recently so he must be off to Dunfermline too!
In all seriousness, I think it's probably wrong and there's a thread down the page which says he signed a 2 years deal. Just wanted to get the sarcasm in before people come along to add 2 and 2 and get 7. _________________ It's rainin' sideways! |

Maybe it's just a very pre-contract agreement, and won't take affect until next summer when his part time deal with us expires?
Obviously not, I'm just speculating. _________________ "I'd much rather be playing Bayern Munich and be competitive for thirty minutes, than murdering Stockport 8-0 in the Freight Paint-Rolling Trophy or whatever it's called." |

Well...............I know a man, who knows a man, who knows another man who has a dog. If you ask this dog to bark once for yes and twice for no he will answer your question..............well normally.............however, i could'nt pass the chance up, soooooooooooo
I said, is it true that Mc gurn has signed a pre contract agreement with partick whistle................and he barked just the once!.
Now I know some of you will be sceptical......and others may indeed have some more questions, but, I promised this guy that I would adhere to total confidentiality, and therefore cant tell you his breed or sex (he barked once when I mentioned sex, hell, I howl masell when ah hear the word)
So, if its true, and he is a pretty smart dog, then you read it here first. _________________ Born a Rover Live a Rover Die a Rover |

Good to see big Davie back between the sticks. Tbh, I hope he's back in the team for the rest of the season, I can see him being the x-factor in the last 5 games, pulling off some incredible saves....hopefully a few at EEP! _________________ A proud member of the 45. Saor Alba. |

The positive way to look at it is that perhaps having a few weeks out of the team may have put the fire in McGurn's belly and given him the motivation to really put in that little bit extra to help see us over the line.
I understood McGlynn's thinking with McNeil's selection, but McGurn has to have won his place back after today. He looked calm and composed the whole time he was on the pitch, and dealt with passbacks, and crosses better than I remembered him doing in the weeks before he lost his place. _________________ "I'd much rather be playing Bayern Munich and be competitive for thirty minutes, than murdering Stockport 8-0 in the Freight Paint-Rolling Trophy or whatever it's called." |

Having watched the you tube clip of the save and then the clip of the Dundee goal i'd say it was a good save but not a great save but i do think McGurn was at fault for the Dundee goal. He is still a top keeper though. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

Hah! What a guy! Brilliant to keep us in it. If that had gone in, I can only dread to think! |
