Good to see Davie at Starks Park today.
Obviously recovered from his broken toe and helping Wayne in training with Scott Law. _________________ Hope he's got plenty Rovers action to comment on tonight.... |

If he has recovered I would rather McKinnon was putting him on the bench than the young lad. _________________ If I were a fighter I'd probably kick your ass. |

This had occurred to me as Ross Laidlaw seems to be out for a while. _________________ Hope he's got plenty Rovers action to comment on tonight.... |

I can only presume that his injury hasn't cleared up sufficiently to allow him to play - it was reckoned he'd be out for 8 weeks and that was 7 weeks ago.
I think Stranraer signed another keeper during the transfer window, so I'm not sure if he'll be heading back there or not.
But, as said above, great to see him back at Stark's Park today. _________________ Dougie Hill

Davie's loan at Stranraer was terminated a while ago.
For his future, watch this space. _________________ Hope he's got plenty Rovers action to comment on tonight.... |

The witch must be still injured, surely the manager wouldn't be pig headed enough to be going with a 17 yr old as back up while the clubs best keeper is sitting in the stand? _________________ Competitive goals: Vaughan 19, Easton 11, Hamilton 10, Smith 9, Stanton 7, Mullin 4, Connolly 3, O'Reilly 3, Rudden 3, S Brown 2, Dick 1, Gullan 1, Masson 1, Matthews 1, Millen 1, Mitchell 1, Murray, Watson 1, OG's 1, |

Davie isn't quite match fit, he hopes to be available for selection next Saturday. |

If we manage to secure 4th place next week, I would give McGurn a couple of games prior to the play-offs. Cuthbert has done nothing to deserve to be dropped, but, God forbid, if he picked up an injury or a red card, it would be better to have a match fit replacement. _________________ Dougie Hill
