Large steel pillars are a necessity in order to keep the roof on when we score!π«£π«‘ _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

To be fair, that was one of the best saves Iβve seen live in a long time. Looked ten times better on highlights. Not changing my overall mind on him as a goalkeeper just yet! Always said he was an amazing instinct shot stopper, this game just proved the point while thankfully none of his βlesserβ attributes were on show.
Does it make up for Arbroath? Possibly, as the game could well have swung right in their favour had it gone 1-1.

Now 6 league shut outs, 3 of them vs. Dunfermline, plus 1 in the Scottish Cup. |

I'm now thinking that tying Kev down to an even longer contract should be one of the top priorities for the summer. Imagine if every player we currently have signed a three year deal. Dabrowski would be the only one that would potentially be signed by another club for a sizeable fee. He's already a very good goalie and he has plenty of scope to improve further. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

Back in early March on this thread, I posted a strong preference for Kev over the departed Jamie Macdonald. I'm now upgrading that view to suggest that, next season, if Dabrowski continues his rate of improvement and better commands his box (and I think he will), we should significantly extend his contract, as his transfer fee will break our club's record by a distance.
He has all the attributes, if not right now then for certain in potential over the coming year or two. |

If we wait till halfway through next season to do that there will be no shortage of suitors offering him terms. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

Totally agree the big fella has oodles of potential to go very far in the game, and the club have to be in a position to maximize what should be a hefty transfer fee |

Yes he had a great game last night in a game that meant nothing.
Arbroath away a few weeks back on the other hand ..... well let's just not go there. |

The game meant plenty to Inverness and he wasnβt to know that United would win the next day. I think heβs steadily improving from being just a good reaction saver, and his kick-outs are hugely better. The next two games are fairly meaningless, in terms of results, but avoiding injuries and suspensions, and playing linked-up attacking football on the deck will be useful preparation for the play-offs. |
