Jimmy Nic complaining in the paper today about a penalty they didn't get when McGurn brought down Sean Higgins?

Me neither.

I think it was in the first half. I thought McGurn got his hand to the ball but the referee gave a goal kick

Ive seen some utterly pathetic performances this season, Saturday was not one. You should stop watching Raith Rovers, you will obviously never ever find enjoyment from it.

Dominated the game, defended very well, made a positive substitution which won us the game.

Not perfect, absolutely far from it - but we are heading in the right direction.

I'd say we did. We were certainly not under any real pressure at any time.

We could and should have scored more, we werent exactly peppering their goal with shots, but it we were never in danger of losing.

We were the better side throughout and according to the stats we were the dominant side. That said I don't know how you can say we were never in danger of losing, it's been a long long time since I've felt that confident. Wink

There were a couple of scares in the 2nd half where McGurn made some good saves at his near post. Whilst there might not have been periods of real pressure Cowden may feel they should have capitilised on those chances. The more the game went on the more I thought it was destined to end 0-0. Chuffed to get the win though. I'll take playing ugly and winning at this point albeit I thought there were periods of the game where we looked good.

I don't see how you can win any way other than ugly on that pathetic excuse for a football pitch.

Let's see where we are when Queens come to town.

Agreed, you could see the players taking the extra touch to stop the ball baubling ove rthe heavy ground, you could see Scott struggling to get the right force on his passing - usually under hitting everything, players struggling to run at full speed with it, the centre backs not taking any chances with it on the bounce.... It was as good a performance as could be expected, short of maybe scoringmore than one.

Also bare in mind the tame capitulation in the seocnd game there last season in similarly hyeavy conditions.

Not so! Nothing so exclusive! We were in fact talking in general about miscreants, malcontents and misfits the world over.
Some of the Admin team got mentions in dispatches too!
