I wonder how many men in red will see red from him? |
We were in white today and the only man who saw red was wearing purple!
Salmond reached for his pocket before he pointed to the spot for the 2nd penalty and I honestly thought he was going to book Smith for diving as I couldn't see him ever giving us 2 pens in a game. _________________ Dougie Hill

Must have been stone wall pens as we dont usually get decisions like this . _________________ Only on fan talk can supporters find a negative in a 5-0 win. 🤔 |

I have to agree the first one was a very soft penalty ( if that was awarded against us I would be going mental) no doubt about the 2nd though . _________________ Only on fan talk can supporters find a negative in a 5-0 win. 🤔 |

Jason Thomson did not enjoy a good game today and was getting pelters from an individual adjacent the press box alleging that he was 'not fit to be the captain of Raith Rovers'
I am fully aware of the ethics of diving(cheating) to win a penalty, but I am sure he did what he saw fit in a machiavellian way.
I am sure he does know his responsibilities and carried them out to the letter. _________________ Hope he's got plenty Rovers action to comment on tonight.... |

I cant believe that someone would come out with comments like that . I love his pace , determination and hard working playing style .
Its hard to judge his leadership skills as we are not In the dressing room before , at half time or after the game .
Sometimes however you do need someone to dish the toung lashings out on the pitch as well as pull the lads together and work as a unit together . We are a new team and we need to gel more as a team which will come in time . _________________ Only on fan talk can supporters find a negative in a 5-0 win. 🤔 |

Stonewall penaltys of the stonewall variety and if anyone says they arent happy to win a game like that then they are either liars or on drugs. We have had plenty decisions go against us in the past so any that go for us will do for me. _________________ YOULL NEVER WALK ALONE

Never saw the second as I was on my way to the pub,1st one if it happened to me when I played football I certainly would have been upset if a penalty had not been awarded.Jason was caught late regardless of what he was going to do with a ball at chest height. It was down to the intent of the defender who played the man in the penalty box and not the ball.End of story as far as I am concerned. We were *beep* lucky today. |

Have to agree. It's worked out well for us, and there will be some this season that go against us no doubt, but I don't see how anyone can condone that dive by Thomson. Truly embarrassing. _________________ If I were a fighter I'd probably kick your ass. |

The first one was never a penalty.
God forbid, but imagine the reaction on here on Tuesday night if Wallace or Falkingham went down like that and a penalty which changed the outcome of the match was awarded. _________________ Dougie Hill

I thought the ref was going to be biased against us and would never give us anything? _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |
