I have watched the video of the first penalty maybe 20 times. Look at the defenders knee. It goes straight into Thompsons thigh. A stonewall penalty if ever their was one. Come on guys look at the video a few times and then judge. _________________ now enjoying my fishing time, at peace with nature. but being a avid radio ham my global contacts have increased. any hams around call me lz2csk on 14200 or their aboyuts |

Eh? I have watched it several times and Thompson dived, I would be raging if it had been a Cowden player in our box. _________________ Yesterday I woke up sucking a lemon. |

At the time I was furious that Thomson went down as it was a great oportunity and couldn't believe the ref pointed to the spot.
However - we had a couple of decent penalty shouts that weren't given so I've no complaints though it was soft. |

3 penaltys in 2 games , thats almost unherd of for RRFC .
Ref was ok last night , but I thought the assistant ref on the dug out side was poor . Never wanted to make up his own mind and always looked to the ref to make the desistion for him . _________________ Only on fan talk can supporters find a negative in a 5-0 win. 🤔 |

Ref had a fairly good game yesterday , he let the game flow . Could have booked a few of the Dundee players for harsh challenges but all in all I never rely noticed him

Thought he was ok for the most part, but I thought Dougie Hill won the ball cleanly, therefore it wasn't a foul, far less a booking.
Booth's booking was cast iron - 'one for the team', so to speak, but I thought Elliot's challenge was perfectly fair, so while not condoning the dissent, I can understand his frustration.
Grant Anderson must have been fouled at least 8 or 9 tmes in the 2nd half yesterday, but can barely remember a Dundee player even being spoken to.
Overall, he will be one of the better ones we'll have this season. _________________ Dougie Hill

He was getting more than a few pelters from the Rovers Abroad crew for a number of decisions, particularly in the second half and in more particular some of the bookings we received, but Dundee players failed to receive, especially over the treatment meted out to Grant Anderson. The commentary certainly sounded as if he was very inconsistent and not necessarily equally poor for both teams. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

He was fine in the first half but there was a 20 minute spell in the 2nd half where he completely lost control. Hill and Elliot were booked for challenges that weren't even fouls while some of the Dundee players got off lightly for their challenges on Anderson. _________________ If I were a fighter I'd probably kick your ass. |
