I worked with his old man (very proud of his son) and although he was biased he had a good opinion of him as a defender. Let’s hope he keeps his dad, and all Rovers fans, happy |

Not familiar with Keith Watson but sounds like the player we have been asking for. Welcome to SP. _________________ Here Wee go again |

Hmmm, not sure.
Assume those in the know have studied his physical stats and have decided he is only worth a year at his age. Will be looking for another 2 defenders, around 10 years younger, to join the squad and learn from and support him
I appreciate players who look after themselves can have longer careers these days, but this just does not fit the young hungry player profile previously mooted. _________________ http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/ |

No, it fits IM’s stated objective of an experienced CB to help stiffen the defence and add leadership. |

Leadership, organisational skills and experience, exactly what we need back there. |

Strong in the air, physical presence, experienced and a good organiser. Sound remarkably like Berra was.
He left because (allegedly) IM wanted to play a high line and Berra (like Watson) hadn't the pace.
Murray needs to suss what his priorities are here. _________________ Competitive goals: Easton 7, Vaughan 7, Hamilton 6, Smith 6, Stanton 3, Mullin 2, Connolly 2, Dick 1, Gullan 1, Masson 1, Millen 1, Mitchell 1, Watson 1, OG's 1, |

Seems a shrewd signing and another big step in the right direction!
