It's apparent from Hughes' interview that he has no time for the players and it can only be assumed that they have no time for him. I really can't see that being a situation under which we'll manage to stay up this season. Morale must be absolute rock bottom at the moment. |
It's surely a mentality thing.
I've had a few bosses who didn't rate me, and have slagged me off to higher management.
Didn't stop me working harder to prove him/her wrong, and me eventually getting their job. |
That's obviously what he's hoping for when he goes off on these rants but it isn't working that's for sure. _________________ If I were a fighter I'd probably kick your ass. |

Oh well, one last time for drama(in the regular season at least)
Theres a high chance that Hibs beat St Mirren.
There is a chance we beat Ayr.
I am bringing my mate along who has an excellent track record of seeing victories!
In failing that, I still would fancy our chances in the playoffs! _________________ if I claim to be a wise man it surely means that I don't know |

Just an observation if we do lose by five or more goals again - we will have occupied every position in the league this season. Has such a phenomenon ever occurred before? My warped brain would see this as another first for the Rovers and definitely something that could be accomplished this year. On the other hand - please win! _________________ Here Wee go again |

Saturday is a big game for us we need to get behind the team hopefully we can get a result and hope hibs can do us a favour. If they don't show up and play like they did last Saturday then they will abuse from the fans but maybe knowing there jobs are on the line will give them a kick up the backside they need cos most of them don't deserve to wear the shirt. |

Except for viewers with season tickets......again.
I seem to remember the season ticket holders being promised something last time the gates were slashed. Unfortunately it was not a scuba kit, so dont hold your breath.
Fair dos trying to get as many in as possible, but the bread and butter fans who buy season tickets are done again. |

Well if it does help to keep us in the Championship I think I might find it in my heart to forgive them. |

It wouldn't matter if they paid us all a fiver to go. Based on what I've seen this season, many of the players don't seem to give a toss. Many fans find that very difficult to support. I heard John Hughes on the radio today questioning whether the players cared. An utterly bizarre situation when the BOD's are begging us to support a bunch of players who's effort and commitment is continually called into question, even by their own Manager. |

The crowd this Saturday will probably prove that even at that price there is literally nobody that would want to come and watch this Rovers side. _________________ If I were a fighter I'd probably kick your ass. |

If the fans wanted to go to the game to support their team they would do it no matter the price but some dont even those die hards. If this decision gets a crowd in who will actually help the team stay up then its worth it.The players are playing for theirs and many others futures so they really have to get wired in. _________________ YOULL NEVER WALK ALONE

Checked with the bookies yesterday, less than 2/1, think it was 1.82 or so for the results we need to stay in this division!
Definitely cause for optimism that.
£5 entry fee certainly makes it an excellent appealing day out for the likes of myself. Nae cheap getting to the games from Glasgow. _________________ if I claim to be a wise man it surely means that I don't know |
