Its £3 more than the rovers and they dont bother about the fans as long as they can pay the their players inflated wages off our entry money. _________________ YOULL NEVER WALK ALONE

I guarantee that if we are title contenders towards the end of the season and this is a top of the table do or die clash, then we nobody will be boycotting this game.
It costs what it costs. Do I think £20 is high for a football game? Yep. Certainly is. However you dont get value for money everywhere. The CO-OP down the road from my flat charge £1.50 for a loaf, so I go to Tesco and get one for half the price. The world is full of places charging more than others for similar services or products, thats life and thats business. Just because its football and people are taking their kids dosent suddenly make it an outrage.
At the end of the day, Dundee still get excellent crowds for our level. Why on earth would they lower their income? It wont make a difference to them if there are 400 or 600 Rovers fans, when they have such a healthy home support. |

I get what you are saying Calderon, and yes it is all about choice. I can see the ground across the Tay from where I live, given fuel costs etc it would probably cost me less than going to a home game at Starks however, I still shirk at the idea of paying such overinflated prices to a club who have continued to bend and break the rules of running a club and now expect the fans to bail them out.
Given that there are at least 5 English Premier league clubs charging the same as Dundee, there is the value for money question too, and this has an impact on those who do not have the finances to attend all games.
So my choice is not to go, not this time anyway, and I would give future attendance at Dens considerable thought before I decide. And for future reference, I feel the same way about the P*rs too, it may be some time before they get any of my hard earned! _________________ http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/ |
