From my point of view its a combination of the all the factors, the main one being money. Its an expensive commute from Edinburgh to Dundee for the game without being charged £20 for a ticket and im assuming from the sale of one capri sun pays one weeks wages for a player
Tho I can understand people will be going to support the team and push them on under the current climate you simply can't afford to go to every game and I will certainly have to cherry pick those lucky grounds who will get my cash. Regardless if im there is not it doesnt make me any less of a supporter and for the first time in a long time really looking forward to the start of the season |

On other threads the point was made that with the Pars being relegated the gate money would be more than compensated by having Dundee at SP twice a season. If we have all this talk about polls/boycotts what's to stop Dundee fans doing the same which then hurts us. I can't disagree with all that's been said about them. If you feel that strong about it then just don't go but lets not cut off our nose to spite our face with all this talk of boycotts. |

Well said, leave all this boycott talk to old firm fans. There will a number of reasons why fans won't go to every game and in this case for some its because Dundee charge 3 pound more than us for entry. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

I don't really care what they charge it's their prerogative and fans can make their own choices.
However - for any club charging more than the Rovers I would reciprocate the same entry fee when they come to Starks. |

If you do intend to boycott the away game perhaps it would be a good idea to drop half of the admission fee into the match day loose change bin on our next home game that way the club could benefit a little .
Just an idea , or you could drink it and p!££ it up against the wall . Lol
100% agree with you northern rover ,, |

I'm not going to Dens.
Not going to Cowdenbeath either after last season. I didn't like where we were dumped and the catering facilities were worse than crap.
We should be housed in the south terracing all the time.
It will give me more money to spend on other away days. |

Eventually we`ll be charging £20 to attend games - can`t blame Dundee for showing a bit of forward thinking can you |

We arent going to morton,we may go to dundee dependant on numbers but i think most of us will be at least end park to support our team against the cheats. We also expect the rovers fans to taunt the townies mercilessly for getting away with it.I also think we should look into behaving how some clubs have as it seems to work in the end. _________________ YOULL NEVER WALK ALONE
