Well JMcG, what can i say. I for one am so sick of seeing how things are going. Today you ot the starting line up spot on, but then you showed you have no knowledge of how to motivate players, or cope with pressure. You bottled it! This poll im making is based on the season as a whole, and so far this season i think i have seen 2 and a half games where we have played well and desered something from the game. That is just not good enough.
On my earlier poll i said i think you should be given more time, well IMO, times up!! You consistantly make bad decisions on subs and changing formation throughout a game. You always change for the negative!
Starting 11: You usually play the wrong shape, formation and players, apart from today. A Walker, on his current form, would be lucky to get a game in the 3rd division, yet he walks into your team. J Baird, has been poor recently too and i bet he is the first name on your teamsheet.
Subs: You always take off the wrong players! A Walker hasnt had a good game in ages. I have never seen a player play so bad and never be taken off. Same with Baird (wasnt too bad today against morton, until Casa went off). I dont think you have the balls to take either of these players off, instead you take off williamson (who was haing a good game) or casa (fair enough if not match fit, but you should have kept the same formation we had!) It always baffles me when i see certain players remaining on the park.
Tactics: What are our tactics? Do we have any? Plan A seems to be knock it about in our half for a bit, then hoof it up the park. Plan B seems to be keep running plan A. We have no plan B. We have no tactics. Defending corners tactic seems to be put 11 men back (even when chasing the game) which i have never heard of before! its the stupidest thing i have ever seen!! and yet the opposition always managed to get a shot/header in.
Im sick of the lack of commitment from some of the players, the lack of tactics, and the general stupid schoolboy errors we make week in week out. And the fact you have no idea how to change a game, or wha player to bring on/off. You are constantly outcoached almost every week.
Im sick of all the excuses, such as "were not getting the breaks" "we were unlucky" or even blaming it on the fans for not turning up in numbers or screaming, singing and shouting for 90 mins each week! How about you admit the real problem, were not good enough, and that you havent a clue about team selection or tactics.
Im grateful for everything he has done for the club, but for me, the frustration of seeing how we play every week is building up!
I beliee that you havent been sacked because were skint. Any other manager would have gotten the bullet by now.
I have made this poll for anyone wishing to change their answer, as i for one have. |

Pathetic. Again. Better off just shutting this forum altogether. |

You mean you don't agree with his opinion Latto so we should shut the forum down. How about putting forward your opinion and use your argument to influence others opinion???
I'd give McGlynn more time, till the end of the season so he can try and redeem his Rovers record. If we go down then he has taken us full circle but with more debt. If we somehow avoid relegation then at least he can say he has moved the club forward. Either way id' like to see a new manager in for next season, in my opinion the team needs a fresh approach. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

The forum should be shut because at a time when we need to all club together to get out of the mess we're in, people are only interested in creating polls which the press can use (and already have done) to create bad publicity. It's working in a backwards fashion. |

If McGlynn was to go I would like to see Jimmy Calderwood be given the job. He would at least inject a bit of enthusiasm. |

I knew fine well a thread of this nature would pop up if we got beat today. Everyone will change their tune if we win next week. |

If the press have nothing better to write about than a poll on an internet forum (which has no connection to the club) then they have serious problems. I know they have already talked about it in the papers, but they shouldnt have.
IF you disagree with me then fine, i can accept your opinion, but what is your opinion? Everyone may have a different view on things. This is the best way for fans to vent their frustration, and i for one have lost faith in JMcG. |

I'd be happy to change my opinion as i'm certain John McGlynn is a good guy who has worked hard for the club but it will take more than a win next week to do that. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

Why shouldn't they? It is an open forum and reporters are always looking for column inches to fill especially midweek if things are slack. In the past they would phone around folk they knew associated with a club (been there on a number of occasions) and get opinions. Nowadays all opinions are just a click away and the press can be ruthless, or not, as is its wont. Everything is up for grabs on the net unless locked down and protected. _________________ Talk on!
