Falkirk are skint and have filled their team full of youngsters and are doing very well

Don't believe everything that slavering, brogue-wearing muppet says about his team. Have a look at this:
http://www.soccerbase.com/teams/team.sd?search=Falkirk&team_id=955&type=team

Their squad is waaaay bigger than ours, and while there are a lot of young lads in the squad, there's also a lot of experience in there. Their keeper is 27, Dods, Moutinho, McManus and O'Brien are in their 30s, El Alagui and Weatherston are 25/26, Millar is only 23 but was on Celtic's books until the age of 22, etc. I don't buy Pressley's "my hands are tied, I've got a small squad full of young players" guff.

Soccerbase Laughing Go back and look at the listing of our squad.Still has the likes of Wales,Ferry,Mole listed

Moutino,O Brian or McManus are no longer at Falkirk just for starters.

If they are they have not played this season

Oh and Darren Dodds may have experience buts hes mince.

you might think dods is mince,,,

but he was good enough to stop our forwards from scoreing .

I would take him for the rovers at least there would be a bit of height and strenght at the back , thats exsactly what the rovers need.

everyone has shot down the replacements i have suggested for the managers post but no one else has been brave enough to suggest anyone else ,,,,

Rubbish. It's the midfield that needs looking at.

He wouldn`t get a place in our central defence.Give me Ellis and Murray any day.

Me too. You talk a lot of mince at times but I'm 100% with you on that one. I wish McGlynn could see it too.

We could equally play 3-5-2 which would give width. Our trouble is poor support play from midfield to our front two, that and the total lack of pace.

On the poll.Wouldn`t read a great deal into it, its hardly representative of the support.

Why wouldn't you read a great deal into it? It looks fairly representative of the support to me; 30% share your view, the rest don't.

Now now kids if you dont behave we will haev to put you on the naughty step....!

Back to the matter at hand...... Dodds...no thanks!!

McGlynn.....best man for the job for now....! He has done more than enough to show he can turn our form around and he of course deserves every opportunity to do so!

For years people have said Div 1 is tough anyone can beat anyone....this year I think its actually true and unfortunately for us in the past weeks its just gone against us. We havent been miles off it, games have just gone against us...thats life!

Fact is we are only 6 points off 3rd place..! This league will be the proverbial roller coaster this year.

From the other thread whats missing? Well I still think a 3-5-2 would be the anwer

McGurn
Hill Murray Ellis
Davo
Thomson Walker Hamill
Baird
Reynolds Graham

We haev established we are not so great at crossing so why go for 'wingers' all the time. In preseason we played some nice football so lets try so focus on that.

No matter what while McGylnn is here get behind him and the team!!! Start of the season you were all scared he was of to an SPL team then after a few bad results you would lynch him. WISEN UP!

I'd keep in Williamson and drop Hamill or Walker. For the sake of balance, it'd probably be Walker.

Oops! He is still a slavering, brogue-wearing muppet though. Whereas I'm just a slavering muppet.
