SPL requirement is a 6,000 seater stdia, we comfortably meet that criteria.
Nice thought, but reality dictates otherwise.............. |
Not sure the word "comfortably" should be in there..............have you ever tried sitting in the main stand _________________ Born a Rover Live a Rover Die a Rover |

I had that unfortunate pleasure for a recent reserve game.
We complain a lot about other grounds but I think it's shocking that people have to pay to sit in our 'main' stand.
It should be reserved for dignitaries, freebies & numpties. |

Theres a few hundred people for every home game that prefer the Main stand and many are season ticket holders.
I think maybe we should be voting on under soil heating as we will need that if we aree promoted or be invited into the larger spl. _________________ now enjoying my fishing time, at peace with nature. but being a avid radio ham my global contacts have increased. any hams around call me lz2csk on 14200 or their aboyuts |

I could be wrong but my understanding is that we have the pipes laid for undersoil heating and would just require the boiler?
Someone can hopefully confirm or correct this |

accept that railway stand not gonna get money spent on it, but something should be done to make it more appealing to the eye, it is becoming an eyesore to look at every home match.
what about putting a small platform/stage in it for pre-match and half time entertainment |

When I say 'comfortably', I mean we exceed the 6,000 seater criteria.
I do agree your point, sitting in the main stand is awful and soulless, restricted views as well, a bit similar to Crappielow. Sitting in the South Stand is so much better, altho I wish we would get some sunshine, it was freezing whereas the County fans wee getting an Autumn tan yesterday! _________________ A proud member of the 45.
