Who coming down?

Currently league stands like this....

10 St Mirren 35 -12 32
11 Kilmarnock 35 -22 29
12 Falkirk 35 -26 28

this saturday
Falkirk v St Mirren and Killie v St Johnstone

Wednesday
Aberdeen v Killie, Falkirk v St J, Hamilton v St Mir

Sat 8th
Killie v Falkirk, St Mir v Aberdeen

St Mirren really pulled themselves out it with their win at the weekend, but could be dragged back into it if they lose this weekend. Flip side of that is if they win, they are safe.

massive match next weekend with Killie playing Falkirk, and depending on how other results go, could end up being a winner takes all decider.

additionally, there is the major concern that has been doing the rounds for a few seasons now, that is if Killie get relegated, that could be it for them!

I think it will come down to the Fakir v Killie game on the last day. I wouldnt be surprised if Falkirk beat St M and then lost to St J, while Killie lost the nest two games. This would put Falkirk 2 points ahead and would mean they only needed a draw against killie to stay up. So on that logic, I think it will be Killie that are relegated and I hope it doesn't mean they go bust. I do think they would struggle more that Falkirk if they came down. They would lose a lot more players and would prob have to have a much smaller wage budget etc if their financial situation is as bad as has been made out.

Hopefully Falkirk for travelling purposes. It would be ironic for Ayr to go down to be replaced with another trip to Ayrshire

Hopefully Falkirk down. Would mean another decent support at San Starko. Bring up Stirling and Cowden too (Stireling practically won it anyway). Cowden for their bigger than the Pars supports at Starks. Razz

Could be interesting if:

Falkirk (down from SPL)
Dundee (decent support- when they are actually winning Wink )
Pars (another big crowd just not as many fans brought as Cowden and East Fife Razz )
Ross County
QOS
Plastic Whistle
Airdrie
Cowdenbeath up (bigger support than the Pars at Starks, you got it yet Right Wing?)
Stirling up.

Means the league is more or less a 'local' league with the exception of QOS and Ross County and Partick Thistle to a certain extent. We are no where near winning this league, so we might as well coin it in with decent away supports.

Ayr and Morton go down. Won't be missed by me. Ayr because they are Ayr (usually a bogey for us) and Morton as their stadium is appalling (only a dwarf will be comfy in THAT seat!)

would falkirk coming down take away a sense of occasion for the Pars Raith games...????

Would Dunfermline consider the game against Falkirk more of a day out rather than our game?
