Okay, a wee bit ahead of myself, but was thinking that our best finish since relegation from the premier league in 1997 was 4th place in the 1st division at the end of the 97/98 season.

Based on current form, we could be on course to equal this. In which case, do people feel this is the best Raith team we've seen since the premier league days?

For some fans, the premier days were before they were born so for them, it has been the norm for Raith Rovers to be battling relegation to the 2nd division, or trying to get out of it.

If this isn't the best team then what would you say is? Certainly I thought the 99/00 team was a great side, and should have gone up. Great to watch with the pace of Agathe, striking prowess of Dargo and midfield creativity of Burns, looked like we would score every time we attacked ahowever we did only manage a 5th place finish behind Livingston, Falkirk, Dunfermline and St Mirren so we have the potential for the current squad to finish better than this.

Although when Calderon's team played to their best they were a joy to watch and in the 1st division played great football despite struggling.
