I've by no means given up on us winning automatic promotion, but want to cover all bases!
When is it likely that the top two team would meet the winner of the third and fourth showdown?
My wife is keen that we go away for a holiday in early May but says that she doesn't want the " misery" of been away when I'm missing any Raith games.
We play Arbroath in the final league game on 3rd May, so I reckon the third and fourth teams will meet the following weekend and the Tuesday/ Wednesday after that? That would mean that The Rovers would next play on Saturday 18th May ( if involved) ?
Anyone ITK able to advise me with certainty ?
Meantime, I'll be in my usual seat tomorrow urging on Raith in the teeth of the wind |

2nd place vs 3rd/4th winner is over two legs, I am sure I saw 14th & 17th May. If we don't win league and assuming we come 2nd, we'd have the previous weekend and midweek off. Franco, on that basis, you'd be fairly safe to go on holiday leaving Sat 4th May and returning Tues 14th (early rnough for 7.45 kick-off in Glasgow/Greenock/Airdrie wherever).
For our holidays, we've just planned departure 13th June for a 2-3 week blast abroad. This oin the basis that I'll find a suitably tuned-in TV for June 14th, 18th and 23rd to see Scotland games. A 3-day mini-break in early May (see above dates) will tide us over until then |

The SPFL website has the play off final dates as the 23rd and 26th May.
If the last league game is on 3rd May, that would tie in. _________________ Dougie Hill

Best guess, using previous years as templates that allowed 6 days between the end of the Semi and the start of the Final…
Fri, 3 May, MD 36
Tue, 7 May, QF 1
Fri, 10 May, QF2
Tue, 14 May, SF1
Fri, 17 May, SF2
Thu, 23 May, F1
Sun, 26 May, F2
At the most, they might move the Semi’s to Wed/Sat…that would give 5 days between QF/SF and SF/F, however, the weekend of 18/19 is Premeirship MD38, so they’ll probably want the SF2 for the TV Friday night on the 17th. |

Hummmm. The EFL Championship final is that day too, which will surely influence the time. |

7 points out of 9 going into the playoffs wouldn't be bad at all.
A wee bit concerned at the lack of chances created in the last 4/5 games. The players need to show themselves that they can create and score goals and this game is the perfect opportunity to do that.
Regardless of who plays vs Arbroath, get the game won in style. _________________ RIP RONNIE |

I totally agree.
Confidence ( or lack of) will play a huge part in the play offs.
We need 100% effort/ creativity/ teamwork.
A lack luster performance is not likely to go down well. _________________ Born a Rover Live a Rover Die a Rover |
