Amongst many other positives, yesterday's stellar result gave Rovers their eighth straight away win - Ayr, Morton, Queen's Park, Hamilton, Dunfermline, Inverness, Arbroath & United. Does anyone have any idea if that has ever happened before in our 140 years?

Season 1994-5 seems to be the answer with nine in a row.
I seem to remember that we went from the second weekend in December when we lost 2-1 away at Dens to the end of the season losing only one more game and drawing three. The loss was at home to Airdrie and two of the three draws were in the last two games, culminating in the 0-0 at Firhill against the Accies to take the Championship title. Happy days indeed 😀😀
Airdrie also beat us in the Scottish Cup at Stark's in the quarter final.

I just checked the link provided by WJ, and so quite correct, Embow.
We lost 1-2 at Dens on 10/12/94 then won 9-in-a-row away till drawing 0-0 with Hamilton at Firhill to win the title on the last day of the season.

An omen or what? Let's hope this time round we've won the title before the last day!

Ah, our little blip after wining cup…2 draws then that loss at Dundee, losing two late goals against 10men which actually put them top.

10 wins in a row after that though!

And so today we tie our 1995 record with a ninth away victory on the bounce 👍😊.
Can we go on to make it double figures at Airdrie on Saturday? 🤞🤞🤞
Unfortunately, I can't be there to see it, as I'll be 30,000ft above the Atlantic at kick-off time. On the plus side, at least I'll be in an aeroplane 😁👍. COYR

Well you may have been up in the air but the rest of us are back to earth with a huge bump.🫣🥺

As far as I can see, 16 games unbeaten (home and away) until yesterday was the longest run since the 1992-93 season, the season of the first promotion to the Premier League. That was 17 from getting knocked out of the League Cup by Hibernian in August to the first league defeat of the season on 1st December vs. Clydebank.
