Shocking scenes on Links Street. I think it was prior to the game

Shocking scenes at the back of the South Stand. Two flares thrown into the crowd. One hit a young girl before landing at my feet while still letting out all the blue smoke.

Absolutely despicable behaviour from the so called young team.

The (non) actions from stewards and more alarmingly the police (nothing to do with us guv) were equally despicable.

I'd like to know what the purpose of the body search was on entry.

I'm in my seventies and was a bit surprised to be 'frisked'. Said 'frisking' revealed....my spectacles!! What do these fireworks look like? It seems that fans all over the country armed with these and all sorts of flags and banners can gain entry with impunity.

It’s easy to criticise the “frisking” but there are certain areas a steward can’t touch so if someone has something illicit tucked beside their genitals then it won’t be found. Why not have a go at the idiots who take these items to a football match rather than those trying to stop them?

As mentioned before it didn’t help that an official Raith publication depicted a blue flare in the crowd - if it is still available to view then RRFC should review and remove said image.

Not a fan of pyrotechnics in general - always fun until someone loses an eye.

I wish some would had told the Security Officer at Heathrow that the last time I passed through there. Metal detector went off, waved to the side, got patted down and he certainly wasn’t abiding by that rule. I believe the technique/law now is back of the hand for the “no go/private” areas.

Its predictable as hell when the smoke flares sre going to get lit - there never seem to be any stewards in place before kick off - they allseemto gather at the bottom of the south stand looking up at the smoke billowing down.

If stewards cannot do a full physical search howabout bringing in acouple of Police sniffer dogs - they might be more effective than the ineffective stewarding that we see week in and week out

Maybe the club being fined might stop it.
