Morton are a dirty bunch of cloggers. Unfortunately they drew us down to their level. Need to be more disciplined in the face of that provocation. Surprised both teams finished with 11 men on the park. Got the 3 points and that's the main thing.

On the plus side, the new weekly special pie (think it was chilli chicken) was very good.

My guess is that makes us hot favourites for the title then.
😳🤪.

34 points for winning one game and a serious challenge to the Killie pies!
What could possibly go wrong?👍😂

Some serious mixed feelings about Saturday's game. Great start (undoubtedly helped by a very soft penalty award) and a great finish, add on a great result, what is there to have mixed feelings about then?

Well it was the bit where we seemed to have reverted into "heidless chicken" mode. I had my head in my hands for most of this period. (Mrs HR was so worried, she even offered to voluntarily top up my fast emptying alcohol glass, which hitherto had been an unheard of gesture!)

Now I get the fact the opposition are there to stop us scoring, and they certainly changed their style, no doubt enraged by the penalty decision, into a more physical contact approach. However we should be able to deal with that and stick to our own game plan. When the opposition are losing their heads, we ought to remain calm and focused. Instead we were being dragged all over the pitch and becoming involved in "on park" petty squabbles, and it was all so unnecessary. The manner in which we lost the two goals also gave me slight worry, and I agree with those who say big Kev (with the accent on BIG) should be commanding his six yard box to a far greater degree. I know in modern goalkeeping this seems to be a task left to the defenders, but if the keeper has the ball in his arms, the attack move has just died, and I so wish he would develop that skill.

Anyway, three points in the bag for us, which for large parts of that game I didn't think was going to be possible. However, as many have commented, this is a very different Rovers team who, when the chips are down, seem to positively rally and we must be grateful for that.

I just wish for the fans sake, they might not let the chips get down to that level in the first place. (Please?)

Anyway. Onward and upward. COYR

I’ve noticed several suggest that Thomson isn’t the type of keeper to teach Big Kev this skill, however, in looking at some Edinburgh City video, McNeil is coming out more than we see Kev on corners and crosses. Since McNeil has been, and is, training with us a couple of years now, that suggests Robbie is capable of teaching that skill and we can hope to see development in Kiev.

Why would Robbie go to Ukraine?

Since I’m more of an apple shape than a Buddha's Hand shape, I’ll deny that.
