Now, some people are saying Weiry's goal v Alloa is the goal of the season. Great goal I agree, but there have been some fabulous goals and I've done a poll.

NB only goals that are available on video can be chosen. That discounts Smith's rocket goal away at Stranraer or Ferry's strike at Arbroath.

I go for Gary Wales goal v Peterhead. Just wish we could have the old Gary Wales back.

There's no way that Weir's goal on Saturday is anywhere near goal of the season. If Jellema had just stayed on his line as he should have, then Weir wouldn't have scored.

It was hard to make my mind up about Wales' and Sloan's, but eventually went for Wales.

You mean this one? Laughing

I would go for Wales vs. Peterhead as well, probably the best goal I've ever seen a Rovers player score.

My pick would defo be Wales first goal against Brechin. The technique and curl on the ball was superb.

I'd agree with this, as well as he ddi to get the range and power on his shot against P'heid, it was right down kulak's throat and the keeper should maybe have done better with it (still a belter though).

The brechin goal had a much more difficult angle to shoot froma nd the technique was simply superb.... nelson stood no chance.

I picked sloanaldo's goal against east fife generally down to how important the match was both for widening the gap between the teams and getting it right up Mr Gray (the dream is now dead). to score a free kick like that when 1 goal up and under a bit of pressure was just a pleasure to watch.

Bobby Sloan's goal against Brechin at the weekend must be a contender. Definitely one of the most important goals.

Aye, I'd agree. Most important goal of the season definitely, as Brechin looked like keeping a clean sheet. Would have loved to be one of the seagulls hovering over Somerset and taking in the stunned silence when Sloanaldo scored Laughing

That Number 2 for the season, for me. Not quite as good as Gary Wales v Peterhead, but still a magnificent freekick.

I'm amazed at two goals as good as that in the same season!
