Totally.
I’m thinking “if” not “when” he returns now.
Must be near impossible for Lewis to get a positive head on but if anyone can, he can.
Wishing him all the best |

I wish him all the very best but genuinely think he may be advised to stop playing. Can't think of anybody who had 3 ACL ops and continued. Hope I am very wrong. |

Terrible news again. I wonder if he will come back from this. Hopefully the Doctors etc will give him good advice for the future. Spending 9 months in re-hab only to play a few games before doing it all again, is no use.
It just proves that despite having a talent if the body can't cope it's impossible to continue. |

Brutal, brutal, brutal news! No words! A truly commited Rovers hero - up there with the best! I truly wish for better times ahead for this man - in football or outside of football. |

EF’s Craig Watson may be one who has had three knee surgeries...not sure if all were ligament. |

I just posted on the Hall of Fame thread regarding Lewis. Surely, nobody would argue against what I suggest..... |

HoF is on Facebook (facebook.com/RaithRoversHOF) and Twitter (@RaithRoversHOF) now, so a DM would do the trick _________________ Niall Russell

Has anyone had such horrendous luck with injuries as a Rovers player? (Robbie Raeside possibly?). Hope Lewis is given as much time as requried to recover. |

We only had Mango Barr fit for 3-4 months for 3 consecutive seasons. |

Lewis hasn't played his last game for Rovers or scored his last goal. With everyone's support and with his own usual hardwork and resilience he'll be back to do plenty of both. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

Here,here
John McGlynn has intimated that it could well be longer than 9 month recovery as its the same knee/ injury from the first time.
Hopefully back in time for the unfurling of league flag on opening day of next season _________________ THERES FIVE OF ME |

According to McGlynn, it would be next season at the earliest. Hopefully a new contract would be on the table, at some point, for both parties. I think Lewie's contract will have time-lapsed by the time he is fit to play again, but my guess is that both club and player would both be up for a new one. |
