Gordon Petrie's goals were amazing as were Joe Bakers fabulous fiver. I missed Didiers hatrick. I just wish we had these type of goalscorers now. |

My favourite though was when two players scored hat tricks for us in the same game. Keith Wright with 5 and Paul Smith with 3 (Jimmy Marshall got the other 1) in a 9-2 win over Stenny. |
I remember that well, only for us to go and get pumped 6-0 at Meadowbank the following Saturday.
At the tail end of the previous season, when we strung together 9 wins in a row, Smudger and Keith Wright bagged a hat-trick each in a 6-0 win at Cliftonhill in a midweek game, then we went through there again 3 weeks later and Keith Wright scored another hat-trick in a 4-2 win. _________________ Dougie Hill

I'm never growing up Zico.
Looking back through the the years we have had some great centre forwards/front line goal scorers AND the big plus was the rest of the team were making lots of chances for the front line in practically every game. |

Re the Joe Baker 5 v Berwick, that's a hat-trick plus 2 so should still count , however he wasn't the highest scoring player that day if I remember correctly, Brian Third of Montrose scored a double hat-trick v Stranraer, at Stair Park. I'm hoping that memory has stuck in my mind and isn't just some twaddle i've made up ! |

It ran in my mind that the last Rovers player to bag a hat-trick was Brian Graham at Falkirk in April 2012. However, my son set me right, as Greg Spence scored 3 at Central Park early last season (including 2 penalties in the last 6 minutes). _________________ Dougie Hill

Welcome to this prestigious club Ryan Hardie , I'm glad your first Hatrick came at Starks Park. I hope you go on to score many more for us , and not against us. ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️😀😀😀 _________________ Only on fan talk can supporters find a negative in a 5-0 win. 🤔 |

Isnt he 19? I just looked as I thought it might be Jay Stein who scored, towards the end of his last season, a stunning hat trick but he was 22 or 23 then |
