I'll buy a season ticket if it's reasonably priced because I'll probably still go to the games regardless.
If I do, it will be in no way an endorsement of Grant Murray as a manager or the performances of his team. _________________ If I were a fighter I'd probably kick your ass. |

I'll be buying one, but it's getting to be a real struggle, I'm fed up with watching dross on the park and dross management off it, the danger is that fans will find something else to do on a Saturday and they won't come back, because frankly at the moment it's not good to watch and it's been like that for the last 12 months, GM is a decent bloke but I'm seriously doubting he's a football manager. _________________ We dont need no stinking badges |

Performances have not been great of late is an understatement.Of late? How late?

A decent level of football whether we win, lose or draw would help.

If you want guaranteed performances and success, go and buy a Real Madrid season ticket and leave our wee club to the real fans. |

It's good to see some contrasting views. I think it's maybe not that well worded by me as I'm sure the majority of us would buy a season ticket purely on our love for the club. Unfortunately I have just had enough watching what has to be the worst style of football played at Starks Park for many a year.
We were promised a squad that would have strength and depth but this has not been delivered. We have no out and out striker and very limited offensive options. The players do not look fit or interested. We keep making the same mistakes time and time again, especially at the back. Our defensive frailties were on show for the whole nation to witness last Saturday.
I agree that the financial side of the club has been massively improved and well done to all involved. But with a dwindling fan base, that side of the club is in jeopardy in the future. I watch with dismay as other clubs overtake us by laying a platform (playing attractive football). It was great to see the rovers attracting young folk along earlier in the season but you can't expect neither them or their families to return when the fare is so poor.
I might just watch the coca cola cup final on repeat tonight to cheer me up! |

It would be good if the results of this were given to the club because I for one am seriously considering whether I'll be back at matches next season unless I see improvement in the remaining matches this season & it seems a lot of folk are the same & some are already turning their backs on going to the Rovers. |

Sadly thats a great idea Maitland Rover.
The downside is we would compare that GREAT side with their ability, the tactics, the passion, the style, the team ethics, the team bonding, the love of teh club and above all the management and the coaching.
then think of the present day........ |

Was thinking about this today. I am actually missing the days of Weir, Hislop and Tade performance wise. Maybe we should get back to Division 1 to make the likes of Vinnie happy again. _________________ Championship Winners 2023-24 |

Eh no, but they put in a level of effort the current crop could learn from. _________________ Championship Winners 2023-24 |
