Haven't voted but share all concerns. However, GM has been able to put together a pretty decent squad each season (albeit small) that most folk have been reasonably happy with considering budgets etc. Players obviously have been happy to sign for him and at the start of each season we hear how well everyone gets on and about the team spirit. He must have something going for him. As others have said, he seems a decent bloke - is he too nice , too loyal to certain players? As has been suggested several times by myself and others, why does the club not look at bringing in someone as a mentor for a period, to assist him, advise him and show him how to look at the problems he is facing from a different perspective. There is nothing wrong with that - it happens in many places of employment. There is no disgrace attached to it - after all it is his first management role. Anyone benefits from other's experience, and football management is no different. This would avoid the complication of any severance agreement, would hopefully give him the confidence and wider expereience to go on to better things and would most importantly bring a different perspective to the players and what is happening on the park. _________________ He's no' hairy mary he's the Rovers' little fairy!

Contracted until June 2016. |
Looking back in hindsight, I wonder if the board regret the length of the contract that was awarded. _________________ This is the year we win the Play-offs. |

After today's debacle, even I can no longer defend the undefendable.

Same here I was one of those who argued to give him more time. Well he`s had it and wasted it so for me Murray get out and get out now. |

Was going to post this in the Murray must go thread but it was Locked.
Is it just me or is Gary's tenure starting to look like a mirror image of Grants time in office? _________________ Competitive goals: Vaughan 18, Easton 11, Hamilton 10, Smith 9, Stanton 7, Mullin 4, Connolly 3, O'Reilly 3, Rudden 3, S Brown 1, Dick 1, Gullan 1, Masson 1, Millen 1, Mitchell 1, Murray, Watson 1, OG's 1, |

The last 3 managers were incompetent, defensive, no Plan B and IMO useless.
Yes we had some success but the way they wanted the team to play drove fans away and left the rest of us, hanging by a thread with nerves shredded. |

Umm...not sure if you missed the beginning of 2016 under McKinnon. As much as I'm disappointed by how things ended, we were turning up week on week where we had a team which was performing and had creative players. The likes of Connolly, Longridge and Craigen were all pulling the strings in midfield, and we had Stewart and Hardie up top who were scoring. |

McKinnon was lucky last year as local companies came forward in Jan 2016 and bought him a forward line. This year the sponsors money has been totally wasted on DM & RS, sadly.
As from now, this is when GL& DJ have to earn their money by trying to get a tune out of Hardie and Stevensonetc. |

Fiddling with the team selection might get a tune. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Sadly Locke & Jackson will not get sacked as the club cannot afford to do the deed.
But on the other hand can the club afford to see less & less fans coming through the turnstiles and the dreadful thought of relegation? |
