Don't panic!
We weren't great but we didn't deserve to lose.
Now the Scottish Cup is over for both Dundee and us, will we see Ashcroft at SP or not?

Not overly concerned about the result. Would of been good getting back to winning ways and money from the next round, however not to be.

Our nearest competitors for 2nd place both being through to the next round may work in our favour with extra games to play.

But I agree, really need to be back on it again ICT.

Including Masson, there were three centre backs on the bench and not one recognised centre back on the park.

That is utterly ridiculous.

Their winner came from us failing to stop a ball in the box, failing to defend a header and a keeper going down in installments in a poor effort to reach the ball.

Livingston are a horrible team. Gamesmanship taken to a new level today with players falling down injured to break up Rovers play at any opportunity. They looked like a desperate team devoid of confidence and prepared to go to any lengths to outwit us.

That was a massive opportunity passed up to progress and get a decent tie in the next round.

Absolutely Northern Rover, spot on assessment.

We need Sam Stanton back AND a centre half.

Poor coaching decisions cost us the game. As Northern Rover pointed out, we needed a defence, and a centre half. THREE on the bench!!!!!

If a player is late for training, they get fined.
The club needs to do that as well for players who waste the ball, Josh Millen you would be skint!
And for players who lump the ball up the park, heading also to no one in particular.

Play passing football on the deck.

Our keeper isn't that good.

Disappointed tonight.

Two goals we lost were criminal especially the first one but thought we generally played okay and if we had taking a number of good opportunities we created we may well be in the hat for the next round

The refereeing standard is worsening by the week

A couple of weeks ago i was full of confidence regarding this match. However, our recent results and more importantly our performances have been well short of what is required to cause an upset.

I predict we will probably create a few good chances, but continue to cave in under pressure and make the usual basic errors. We look ok in possession, but are absolutely awful out of it.

2-1 Livi.

I wish i could predict the Lottery numbers on a Saturday rather than a Rovers result and performance. Nevermind, at least it wasn't a league defeat....that's next week.

I we don't address this problem regarding losing soft goals and not winning games when ahead, we run the risk of a second half of season collapse similar to two years ago.

And yet again a flare thrown on the pitch from our fans. Will they never learn?

They have learned, that nothing happens so why stop? Fine them, ban them.

5 of the 10 teams in the Championship are assured at least £28,000 more than us, and if they win next round, it increases to at least £83,000, without TV consideration and ticket income.

As for those saying we didn't deserve to lose...we did deserve to lose.

Northern Rover summed up today’s game. Cynical performance from Livvi and inept referee. We played some decent football and some awful football.

Well said, Vinnie.
I noticed on the other channel that Tx Rover has already written off the season. Some of us don't see things that way, far from it . Being out of the Cup is not good financially but is one less distraction and one less chance to pick up injuries.

Not much to add.

We essentially failed against a poor side who were there for the taking yet we contrived to make them look half decent at times.

Don’t think the game plan was great, our defending was once again poor in the vital moments.

Should we have lost? No

Did we deserve to lose? Probably

As has been pointed out a few times, a midfielder at centre half and 3 centre halfs, including one who played last week, on the bench. Why didn't RaithTV ask this question?
