Expect Davidson to adopt the old ‘make ourselves tough to beat first and foremost’

Don’t rate the guy too much as a manager despite his cup exploits so not expecting this to have a huge influence on their fortunes, still going to be a battle to stay up for them.

Saying that, the way we have defended ourselves last couple of home games is giving me the heebie jeebies while we have been far from excelling up the other end last two games.

Changes forthcoming again I think, Defence obviously HAS to be shuffled now Dan is away while I wouldn’t be shocked to see Hamilton and Connolly back in the starting line up… wouldn’t even be adverse to seeing Gullan given a start, I mean, we have subs for a reason, if it isn’t working, the manager doesn’t have to wait until we are behind to change things… maybe Vaughan given a chance to impress from the bench?

Can’t see Kev back for this one if the comments about a head injury/concussion/unconsciousness are correct but McNeill was more than competent on Saturday.

Potentially Corr at the back?

Who plays up front? Hamilton alone or will IM play two up top?

Where does Gullan fit in the plans as, for me, he is a hard working striker who can score goals but is third of fourth choice at present.

Does Matthews start?

We need a win to restore confidence and keep us top.

Believe!

Going by what I've seen recently of Queens on the tele and at the 3-2 extravaganza in November we need to keep the shackles on striker Ruaridh Paton and playmaker Don Thomas. Do that and we should maybe have enough at the other end to score a goal or two. It won't be easy given they didn't concede against United and only a late goal in the Pars game. This will be another close battle.

Their young keeper, the 17 year old who in goals back in September is sought after big a few of the big clubs in England. He has been on trial at Man Utd and they are favourites to now sign him.

I agree Badpress. This young Keeper is exceptional. If Manchester United are going to sign him, could it happen before Saturday please?

Ah. I didn't know that. Let's hope Davidson doesn't play him?

And add to that, Easton being runner up for goal of the month. Only beaten by a certain sub keeper from Arbroath!!!!

Go to admit that when I saw Vaughans face on the websitey initial thoughts were a 2 year extension.........I'm sure that'll be the next one!!

It shouldn't be. 3pm kick offs in the UK are now allowed to be legally streamed.

No premiership matches on. Think it’s something to do with that

It's a make shift defence but it was like that against Pars in the Scottish Cup and we kept a clean sheet.
