It never fails to amaze just how many highs/lows that we as footy supporters go through.
Give the team their due though, they never stopped and fought back. Something that might not have happened last season. _________________ Born a Rover Live a Rover Die a Rover |

Messed up afternoon.
Played a lovely 1st 45mins, unlucky not to be ahead by more.
Came out 2nd half looking like WE were short a man, not them. Despite this, Queens never really troubled our goal UNTIL possibly the two worst defensive howlers we will ship all season (*beep* hope so!) calamitous doesnāt cover them.
We regrouped, and we all know how it ended! Magical stuff and super chuffed for Lewie to put the finishing touches to them.
We were pretty close there to a Roversā fan meltdown this evening, almost made a real dugsā dinner oā it.
Special shout out to Dom Thomas and his teammates celebrating their 2nd down by the home fans, cupped ears, little dances, the lotā¦.get it up ye |

I suspect the roar topped a protection level for the microphone and that was the silence. As the yelling subsided, the audio came back. Itās also possible someone on the broadcast team did it to save ear drums. |

Very much this
The game should have been done and dusted by half time.If we had taken our chances it would have been a battering for QP

The big thing for me, so far this season, is the never say die attitude, fighting to the final whistle .
Of course they were wasteful with a number of chances, but the Spider defenders and especially their young goalie provided quite a barrier to overcome - unlike our own defenceās mad moments(give them their due they played pretty solidly apart from the goals!
Anyway, all successful teams carry a bit of luck and sometimes eek out the result the hard way! _________________ He's no' hairy mary he's the Rovers' little fairy!

I still havenāt calmed down after that rollercoaster of a game. Yes we missed a barreload of chances, yes QP are a very pleasing skilful team to watch and playing against them must be a nightmare, but huge congratulations to the manager for his tactics in exposing the flaws of their high line game right from the kick off and for all the first half especially. Hamilton was immense in causing havoc with their defence at times and on a different day could (and possibly should) have had a 1st half hat trick. I thought we missed him in the 2nd half, Gullan tried hard but I felt we missed the big fellas height and directness as an outlet when we occasionally managed to win the ball from QP.
QP terrific football players but all credit to the Rovers for containing them and not letting them into our penalty box (except for the glaring errors which gifted them their 2 goals).
Ive never seen such a shocking mistake from a Rovers goalkeeper other than when Guido missed his kick and the ball trundled into the net all those years ago.
Again great credit to the manager, spot on substitutions and massive massive credit to the players to have the spirit desire and downright *beep* mindedness to take the game by the scruff of its neck and produce a winning finale like that. Absolutely superb. The scenes at full time were fantastic. For once we turned it around and pulled a victory from the jaws of defeat. On chances Iām sure it could have been something like 14 to 3.
A game which will be remembered for a very long time. Brilliant stuff Rovers, so happy for wee Lewis. Magic. |

Hopefully the fans can forgive Dabrowski for his howler following his match winning performance the week before. Great 3 points. _________________ Two pints prick |

Seems to be a lot of criticism aimed at Dabrowski but very little or none towards the defenders involved in the comical 2nd goal _________________ THERES FIVE OF ME |

Wow, what a team effort to get us the three points and a special well done to Lewie Vaughan, he change the game and scored the vital goals.
Whereas goodness knows how many glaring misses we had??
Queens Park had a great plan, they were well organised, very skilful players and were tactically aware. Their German coach has installed a great team.
We were the opposite, we let QP attack and stood back, I dislike the way we defend, the defence looked like they didn't want to tackle?
BUT, when we did attack, we looked dangerous, but we could do with some players willing to take the defenders on, like Aidan Connelly does.
We scored with 3 good goals, and let QP in with two howlers.
Still sitting top equal, isnt too bad.
And a very good crowd today, just below 3000 |

Iām struggling to replay it in my head but my recollection is that our defender had a simple nod with his head back to Keeper, do so and the madness of the next 5 seconds doesnāt happen? Canāt criticise the defender as canāt remember who it was
Kev doesnāt need criticising, he must know the magnitude of such errors. My main hope is that he toughens up, gets āangryā. Most great goalkeepers are a wee bit āmentalā, donāt mind taking a kick in the face or wiping out everything in their path if need be, right now he comes across as a bit too nice and a bit too safe |

Kev needs to realise that referees lean towards keepers when involved in 50/50's
He should have blootered the ball and attacking player in equal measure. _________________ Hope he's got plenty Rovers action to comment on tonight.... |

My recollection is the ball into the box wasn,t dealt with by cant remember who,Kev makes a very good save, then I think Watson headed the ball straight to one of their players, next minute its in the net..This may change once I,ve seen the highlights _________________ THERES FIVE OF ME |
