A fine start for our representatives in Europe as Hibs manage to do what only Hibs can do.
They've Hibsed it!🫣

Just watched the highlights, calamitous defending however the goal at the end gives them every chance to right the wrongs next week.

Hibs being made to look a very ordinary side, Villa 3 up and it's no half time yet

3 talking heads at HT taking 15 minutes to figure out Hibs haven't been very good.

The title of this thread is not in any way relevant to Hibs despite the technicality of even further embarrassment in a second leg.

Thought the stupid hand ball rules were being relaxed this season? Clearly not in this Aberdeen game, no player claims it, I seen nothing, commentators didn’t see anything, officials played on for a clear minute then all of a sudden VAR are getting ref to monitor who obviously felt pressured to award the softest of spot kicks.

Abacus tells me Scottish clubs have lost 15-2 on aggregate this week and that actually flatters them from what I’ve seen!

Rangers could have conceded a few more.
PAOK had an evening stroll in the sun and scored four goals
Villa put out a virtual 2nd string v Hibs and played in 1st gear for majority
Aberdeen conceded three at home, they weren’t awful, should have scored a few more themselves but should have conceded a few more too, special mention for worst miss of the season for Hacken at start of 2nd half!

It makes you cringe! These are our "top clubs" too! Domestic bullies - lame in any other contests. Be amusing to hear all the pathetic excuses, I guess. There should be more domestic upsets - there really should!

At least the National Side is doing us proud!

Apparently all McCoist and McCann could talk about, on TV and radio respectively, was budgets and how it's impossible for Rangers to compete at this level.
Funny how budgets were never mentioned once when Rangers beat Livingston and Ross County in their last two league games.

I don't find it remotely embarrassing that Scottish clubs have been hammered yet again in Europe. Teams in a league that revolves around having two clubs playing each other four times in order to satisfy a television company deserve all they get.
There was a golden chance to properly restructure the leagues ten years ago when the Currant Buns went bust, but the Premier clubs bottled it through greed, so hell mend them in Europe.

I heard English orientated pundits laughing at Hibs getting drubbed 5-0 from Villa and the state of Scottish football.
No mention of Villa's recent drubbing of Everton in the same sentence.

I forgot to mention Newcastle humping Villa 5-1, yet the state of Scottish football.

Did you know that the name of Aberdeen’s opponents BK Häcken means Hedge? Apparently their first ground had a hedge running down the side of the pitch. Does that make them the Brechin City of Sweden?

Amen to that SG.👏👏👏👏👏
You'll get no disagreement from me.👍
Very much a case of the problem hidden in plain sight.😠
