McGill/Masson/Watson/Dick across the back, and Hamilton starts (as Trialist A).

0-0 at the half. East Fife matching well, keeping a good line and responding to our attempts. Couple of chances, game slightly favors us, but scoreline is fair enough. Masson looking good, being coached steadily by Watson…McGill looking entirely capable at RB. Hamilton quiet, but shown on defensive set pieces already with a couple of clearances.

Maybe we should start a new thread on Twitter?

Thanks Tex for the dedicated thread and for the updates. Can't even get into Twitter. Rolling Eyes Did Jack Hamilton feature? I guess we'll get a match report in due course.

To get back off topic, Very Happy - I wonder if we'll still see a bounce game before the Pars. All of our pre-seasons have been against lower-league opposition. The Pars at home Killie and Annan away in the League cup and Partick away in the league are all going to be much tougher games, with more at stake. A bounce game against a Premiership side (or two) would be much stiffer tests.

Haven't we already got enough injuries for your liking , Neil? 😂

We have taken on lower league sides, presumably to build up confidence as well as working on fitness, formations etc. The Pars have taken a different approach, with
tougher opposition. It will be interesting to see which route pays off next Saturday ( although injuries could also be a factor).

Point taken about injuries Franco. Embarassed I guess the Pars game will take care of itself. Not so sure about the rest.

Jack Hamilton was listed as a trialist

Apparently still waiting on Hartlepool officially releasing him, same with Paterson

Outwith Jamie Gullans peach of a goal not much of a game but with probably half a team injured its hardly surprising

Healthy Rovers support again

Ps

Bad crack that many supporters were unaware that under 16s were free entry today already having purchased their ticket online

Wasn,t mentioned on East Fife website and only tweeted by Rovers yesterday

As a footballing spectacle that was honking. Pedestrian walking football at times. Cant really tell much about anything from that given the line up hopefully is nowhere near our best starting 11.

East Fife looked like they were playing for 0-0 right from the off and some of the challenges were quite ridiculous for a friendly particularly on Easton.

Gullan goal was a peach apart from that pretty much a yawn fest and a waste of 10 quid.

About time our digital media director got his finger out and got it sorted, mind you he doesn't even respond to tweets on his own account
