A mate of mine is involved with Robbie Raeside's St Andrews United and points out that Auchinleck will be hot favourites. That said, the Saints could have had a much harder draw (i.e. Buckie Thistle away). From what I can see, Auchinleck are in poor league form and not the formidable side they once seen as in the Juniors.
Any thoughts? |

Saints had fallen a long way over past 5 years or so. But Robbie is hauling them up by the bootstraps, promoted last season, and challenging to go up another division this time round. Beat Haddington, near top of division above, to qualify for 1st round tie vs Talbot. A big ask, but another shock possible.
I'd go along, but have another pressing appointment at Excelsior in Airdrie that day 😁 |

Aye, Robbie Raeside has fairly got them punching above their weight - in the spirit of the Rovers side that he was part of! Wouldnae rule out double promotion or another wee cup upset! |

Might the battle of the two Bears, i.e. Berwick and Brora be a bit of a travel for the Berwick Lads? It must be around 270 miles, so an approx 5 hour journey!
Could it be possible to make this the live Match on BBC and help these poor lads see their team play?
On second thoughts. Brora is a far travel away from the Glasgow epicentre for the BBC. Maybe best to stay closer to the central belt like say, Stirling, where you have motorways to choose from, and it is less difficult to get lost. Oh, and by every means, avoid the dangers of thon A9 North of Inverness! |

Don't know anything about current form of teams but by reputation and "names" that's a cracking result for Robbie Raeside and St Andrews Utd _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Thanks for that WJ. Tricky to even find clues online - through Google at least! I'll just bookmark the channel. |
