I may be missing something, which is quite usual for me these days, but has Aiden suffered a slump in form recently? Or has the merry go round of giving the whole squad a game meant he has had less time on the pitch?
Maybe the statisticians among you can help here? As I say, I may have this completely wrong, but it seems like his goal scoring prowess has dried up a bit recently. However I see he is still top goal scorer with 15.
Another question I have would be how potential buyers would view a slump in scoring form? Might they put this down to who is surrounding him, or might they think he himself has gone off the boil? I know he has had several assists, but at one time this season he was scoring goals for fun?
Can anyone help enlighten this dottery Auld Git please? |

I’m sure he took a knock at Ibrox and only recently returned. Perhaps that injury and the dip in form for the whole side along with the extending injury list haven’t helped. Missed the cove match as he was injured or unwell prior to the start and then was on the bench for the cup final. |

IM in the FFP saying Aiden has indicated that he wants to be with Raith next season. However, IM says it's up to the Club to come up with the right package.
I don't know if Aiden is married with children and a mortgage or not. Sadly, if he is, then he doesn't meet John Sim's profile of a young ( he's not), hungry and unattached player.🙄
Won't the fact that he is a very good ,talented and hard-working footballer who was Player of (last) Season and now our top scorer, not result in a decent offer
to extend his contract?
If this isn't forthcoming , may IM wonder if Raith is the Club for him?
..........and what about those considering if they want to purchase a new Season Ticket? |

2 year deal through June 2025. |
I’m actually unsure about this one. He has been great for us but when the chips were down he had a poor second half to the season. I understand he was injured and we relied heavily on Connolly for goals but we need the same Aidan that has been a revelation for us and not the one who finished last season. Time will tell. |

Think you answer your own concerns Wellyboot.
He was playing through the pain barrier for last couple of months.
Add the fact that we were down to the bare bones in terms of numbers AND quality around him then it’s no surprise he didn’t shine during the run in.
Really chuffed he is sticking around! |

Happy with this signing. Convinced he'll come good again, when he gets back to his former self. No off pitch uncertainty to weigh on players minds anymore. |

Hopefully this signing will have gravitational pull and encourage other players to enlist. _________________ Hope he's got plenty Rovers action to comment on tonight.... |

Really pleased by Aidan re-signing. Even more pleased by Aidan's attitude in the Raith TV interview. It's great when a player says he wants to play for Raith for as long as possible.
No doubt that he will be a major contributor to our upcoming season ,with plenty hard work and curled finishes |
