Looks like his goals/performances in pre-season and in the cup games have attracted interest from other clubs notably Killie and Dundee according to their own fan forums. |

I'll suggest if we've ambitions to get out this league at first time of asking, his value lies in him staying with us this season, rather than a quick buck now. Besides we've yet to get any real time out of Lewis ourselves. |

I agree with the above. I don't think Lewis in a premier league player yet anyway. He's technically very good but lacks the pace to make it at the top level. _________________ Nothing to see here... |

I reckon Vaughan could easily perform in the premier league and I have a sneaky suspicion that's where he'll be playing next season. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

I have a sneaky suspicion he'll be playing there this season. The boy's a class act and will be very surprised if he's still at the Rovers come September. |

That would involve a fee. Next season would be a free transfer wouldn't it? _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

If there are offers for any big our players then am sure we will except them, matter which player it is. |

Lets hope not. With the front three of Vaughan, Spence and Buchanan we will not be far away this season.
We simply cannot afford to lose any of them. Would be a bad move by the board to let any of them go.
Then again, after last season, where bad moves were the only moves.......
I reckon if we look like we are going to go up this season, we should get these lads on extended contracts to put off the sniffers. We would need their goals to keep us up next season! |

There is no chance of any offers being made for Spence, Buchanan, Matthews and Callachan.
The only slight concern is for Vaughan. However, I think he is due us a full season, which for various reasons he has yet to do. I believe he is at the same level he was two years ago when he got injured, put simply he at the heart of everything.
Let's hope he scores a load of goals, then we may be rewarded next summer with a few quid in the coffers. |

For this to happen then another contract extension would need to be signed. Not a bad idea, giving him another year or two with a wee pay rise and a promise that if a decent offer comes in next summer then he can go with our blessing. Getting Matthews to sign an extension too would be great... |

My understanding is we would be entitled to a fee for Vaughan next year as he is under 24 and we are his first club.
Also, Matthews and Callachan are signed until June 2019 & June 2018 respectively.
Finally, Spence & Buchanan are only one month into two year deals so we are very secure regarding our best players length of contracts. |

Just listened to his post match interview. Thank you Lewis for showing such loyalty and commitment to the Rovers after everything that you were put through last season and putting it all behind you. You are a true Rovers legend! Welcome back Lewis! |

Don't know the lad in any way but from listening to his interview what a cracking fine guy he seems to be.
Positive, sensible and forward looking despite all he had to endure last season.
A class act if that interview is anything to go by.
I really do hope your re-found enjoyment of the game gives all our supporters a similar feeling this season. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Lewis is showing great form just now. Whilst him going out on loan last season was a disaster for us, I think it was the opposite for him. The game time he got at sons, he was never going to get under Locke. That, in my opinion, is what has helped kick him on this season.
Unfortunately, if he keeps this up, he will go elsewhere. |
