I dreaded this thread. Likely what clubs will be looking is is
a) He scores goals
b) He is peed off by what happened
c) RRFC have a reputation as a pushover on transfer matters
They should have offered Vaughn a coaching role too. If he goes, we are in trouble. He is our best hope for bouncing back in one season, esp with Stewart and the loan players going. BOD - entice him to stay please! |

You're kidding aren't you? The BoD have been pinning all their hopes on getting some cash from his sale.

Some of us were helped to decide re-season tickets by the knowledge of certain players having been signed up for next season, be a kick in the teeth if we give them away now. This "we cant stand in their way won't wash forever", don't care how much we get for Lewis, we've yet to see the best of him ourselves, surely we deserve that ! |

Even if they just want the cash for him - would they bring in a like for like player? I doubt it. More likely a couple of League 2 cast-offs and all the tired excuses about being realistic about our situation etc. I hope the idea is to win this League 1 - not just survive in it. |

The aforementioned are forwards, Lewis is an attacking midfielder, two different roles. _________________ Hope he's got plenty Rovers action to comment on tonight.... |

I hope they pay him his Championship wages. I can understand pay cuts for people who causes the mess we are, but not for him - he was put in an awful situation. Okay, he relegated us with his equaliser at Tannadice - but only because he was a true professional - unlike some underachievers whom Mr Locke decided NOT to loan out to our rivals. |

That's unfair he did offer Rudi to Hibs but they couldn't afford his wages. _________________ Competitive goals: Vaughan 16, Easton 11, Hamilton 9, Smith 7, Stanton 7, Mullin 4, Connolly 3, O'Reilly 3, Rudden 3, S Brown 1, Dick 1, Gullan 1, Masson 1, Millen 1, Mitchell 1, Murray, Watson 1, OG's 1, |
