Folk should be able to buy tickets online in this day and age plus is there not a better for concessions etc to get in to starks other than queuing at the wee office. _________________ YOULL NEVER WALK ALONE

Also, I noted that the club are doing a hospitality "deal" for £40. This gets you a match ticket, one course meal and a drink.
Given that a ticket costs £18 - thats £22 on one course and a drink?!?! |
I had the exact same conversation with my dad at the game on Saturday. What if it's an over 65 going. £31 for a drink and a one course meal. _________________ Through thick and thin, good and bad. (Even the Iain Munro times). Forever a rover. |

If Hamilton were relegated as opposed to Dundee Utd. Do you think they would charge £20. Probably not , why ? Because they bring 2men and a dug as a support. It's nothing to do with the other team. This principle means to say we are already bowing down to their superiority. _________________ Through thick and thin, good and bad. (Even the Iain Munro times). Forever a rover. |

I'd hazard a guess you'll end up being able buy tickets on the day of the match if people can't get to Stark's during the week. I don't buy this 'yeah but if we can buy tickets on the day of the game we have to queue for a ticket then queue to get in', just get down in plenty of time. Dunfermline operate with no cash turnstiles at all so if this is putting people off you'll have to do the same thing through at their place i.e. use their ticket pod then queue at the turnstiles. As for the price, well it's plainly obvious the club are expecting a big crowd from our neighbours so why not squeeze as much out of them as possible. Not everyone will agree that's the way to go about it but it's not like we've not got previous for doing this. Least we're not punting our own fans out the main stand to get more away fans into the ground |

I think our main standers are safe, unless 3500+ Dunfermline fans are due to attend which I highly doubt |

I remember going to see Tommy Trinder in Frinton-on-sea back in the early 70s. I thought he was funny. Supported by the Black Abbots if I remember correctly.
Apologies to the Admins etc for going back to TT, but I've come late to this topic and it brought back memories. So, sorry again for being off topic. |

Refuse to pay £60 to attend match with my 2 sons who are still school boys (16 and 17). Dunfermline have the right approach in that they recognise under 18s as concessions. First derby match for my family will be the away game £41 versus £60 to attend same match at Kirkcaldy. Also noticed Dunfermline have an under 18 season ticket priced at £100!! Does not take a lot of working out why attendance numbers are going up in one half of fife and declining rapidly in the other. |

When we were in the Premier League in the mid 1990s, it cost no more to watch us playing a Hun team containing the likes of Gascoigne, Laudrup, Goram and Mikailatchenko than to watch us playing Partick Thistle or Kilmarnock, so this hiking of prices to watch us play Hibs and the Pars is unjustified nonsense. _________________ Dougie Hill

We did put the prices up for when the old firm came to starks but the club gave rovers fans a voucher to get £2 off so we still paid the same.South stand at the time was £12 i think but when we played celtic or rangers it went up to £14 but we got a voucher to keep it at £12 for home fans.Only downside was that we got a lot of away fans in the home stand which caused hassle. _________________ YOULL NEVER WALK ALONE
