My first impressions are we didn't deserve to win that today but we didn't deserve to lose either. We badly need a predatory striker a la Baird. Luck was against us in a couple of efforts. The Falkirk keeper brought off a couple of top drawer saves but, alas, that's what he's paid for. One cleared off the line out of nowhere. Falkirk were really not that much better but had a firmer grip of the middle of the park in the second half without being overly threatening. Two mistakes lead to two of the three goals. The other was a really good goal if your team scored it but not too good to lose. Winger should have been closed down sooner. We had an almost replica of that in the second half but I can't remember who was on the end of it at the back post but he managed to put it over rather than in. Things certainly have tightened up in mid table since the clocks changed! Crying or Very sad

I actually thought the game lacked quality on both sides. Ball spent far too long in the air. We created enough chances to at least draw. Lack of composure in front of goal along with terrible error by Davo cost us today.

Didn't think Megginson was far off our best player today, nobody stood out but probably would have picked him or Craigen myself.

Both their goals came from our right back side of the pitch both were stoppable. We need a direct forward someone that will attack their defence run at them and force them into errors or at least fouls. There goalkeeper was flapping several times why did we not put Daly on him more often if not him then one of the other taller players in our team. Three points thrown away not enough bottle or fight shown on the pitch.

Watched on RRA - our goal was from a slip as was their winner - apart from that both teams were pretty equal. We had great chances that they defended like their lives depended on it. That to me was the difference apart form us missing a couple of clear chances that pros should just not miss and a clear penalty shout - but we should be scoring - should we not? Anyway - agree that we need a strike force at this level and Daly and Stewart are not it. Still I thought it was decent game.

Very unlucky today but sadly hard luck stories are becoming commonplace. Two defeats to Falkirk, two defeats to Hibs and a defeat to Rangers suggests we are where we deserve to be.

Goal Line clearance, Craigen miss, Daly miss all could have secured a point.

Daly don't see the point. How can someone so tall jump downwards? Stewart is woeful. Wighton isn't the answer. Unless the front line is addressed and pronto mid table mediocrity beckons.

Some very good and fair points today.

I was in the main stand today and Ray almost ripped the dugout out of the foundations when we conceded the 2nd goal he was so angry. He was also raging at full time when walking down the touch line. So I'm sure he was hurting as well.

However in saying that the substitutions were wrong and too late. Mckeown went off injured and with us having such a narrow midfield and three centre backs on the pitch why didn't we revert to a 3 5 2. Anderson would have provided the width we needed. To be honest apart from the Falkirk winner from Davidson's mistaken pass back, Cuthbert didn't really have a save to make. The game was there to be won and we did make chances that we didn't convert to goals. I would love us to bring in a penalty box player like Brian Graham who can stick it in the onion bag. Perhaps Hearts could help us out in January, but I'm sure Ray will have something going on in the back ground.

We have played Falkirk twice and both times they have done us. Let's hope we can get the better of them in the next two ties.

I stopped listening after the first 30-40 seconds of drivel.

We have a forward line that cannot score and a defence that is leaking at least one bad goal per game.
We are in for the usual long winter it seems. Just like last season we cannot take anything from the teams above us and are starting to drop points from the teams below us. We now seem to be in a mini league with Morton and Queen of the South for places 4-6. Naturally we will finish 6th.

It could well be a long winter for McKinnon. Some of the villagers are already dusting off the pitch forks and prepping the flaming torches.

Maybe not the complete answer but i thought our attacking options in this game and the Hibs game were changed as soon as Wighton came on, give the guy a chance, problem is who do you pair him with ? I'd try Megginson and Wighton.

People are realising we are no better than last season. We can quite easily go on a Murray style run of 1 win in 10 games from here. Not good enough.
