Yeh, sorry SOW, maybe bin Laden, Leishman or Willie Miller all for different reasons. Not any of the candidates being voted for should distract us from our labour of love. _________________ Remember 6-0 townie scum |

I'm gonna make a prediction.
I think a statement will be made at 11pm today and there will white smoke will be emanating from the board room of the San Starko. _________________ Competitive goals: Vaughan 18, Easton 11, Hamilton 10, Smith 9, Stanton 7, Mullin 4, Connolly 3, O'Reilly 3, Rudden 3, S Brown 1, Dick 1, Gullan 1, Masson 1, Millen 1, Mitchell 1, Murray, Watson 1, OG's 1, |

Lionel Messi as player manager, he said he needed a fresh challenge. |

Derek Adams used to cop quite a bit of flack on here for being a tube.
Now seems to be a favourite of folk to be the new gaffer...the carousel continues!
Not sure exactly who I want in, but I like the board going for the sooner rather than later approach. Means that the new manager doesn't really have the I need a summer to sign the players I want defence. _________________ if I claim to be a wise man it surely means that I don't know |

So the thing with Derek Adams is he really cares about his clubs, when he is against you, you hate him and rightly so he comes off as a total *bleep*. BUT if if he is the one with his heart on his sleeve fighting for your club then I reckon its probably a little different.
I have a funny feeling we might end up someone completely left field but lets see. I just hope some real thought has gone into the balance between Director of Football, manager...coaches etc so tat we have the right attributes across the management team. _________________ Cameron....Salmond....Daily Mail = euuuurgh |

i may be reading to much into this and taking it too far in my own heed but i have a feeling our new management team will consist of laurie ellis and maurice malpas.
they are both hanging arround the club, doing every day tasks, Signing youth players, arranging pre season friendlies..
Now Tell me this, what clubs do we know of in the past who have no manager have signed players, and arranged games?
NONE! as it shouldnt happen.
What if the new gaffer comes in, wants his own boys in? doesnt agree with the pre season friendlies, and doesnt like the look of the youth players that we have signed up?
A) the club looks daft as a brush for arranging these friendlies
B) the youth players weve signed warm the bench if they are lucky or play reserve games or go out on loan while we pay a wage or 4!
now i for one minute am not slagging off the board for this but surely common sense tells them to hold back a week before arranging games and signing players.?? |
