Times up for me. Useless, clueless and utter rank performances since new year. Promising start has saved us from relegation, nothing else!

Sorry Grant, you are a nice guy but sadly I really don't think you have what it takes. Either that or, for some reason, the players just aren't playing as well as they should be for you.
I made the decision not to go to Livingston today and I am so glad that I didn't go. I did tell my niece to give them one last boo on my behalf - I hope she did that for me as I'm sure they will have deserved it. Again.
Instead of going to Livingston I took my kids to Fife Airport and saw the helicopter and Championship trophy take off on its way to Dundee. I think I could quite easily find other things to do on Saturday afternoons next season.
Season ticket? Maybes aye, maybes naw . . . . . depends on what happens with players, manager etc over the coming weeks.
Just so glad that it's finally all over for this season.
Congratulations to Dundee and hard lines Hamilton. What more could they have done on the last game of the season? |

The guy has two years on his contract. I'd give him the summer to try and get things sorted. If we're still this bad to watch by the end of October I'd sack him. If we have another winter collapse, then i'd also be shouting for him to go. If he can get us back playing like we were last summer/autumn then he deserves to stay.
In fairness to the Board, a 6th place finish, followed by a 7th place finish is probably what they expect; It's not too bad. However, the second half of the season has been horrible. I pretty much only go to home games and out the five games I attended in 2014, we lost the lot. Our home record in 2014 is played 10, W2 D1 L7. That is not good enough. Home crowds aren't good and they won't get better unless we improve as a team. Away crowds will make up the slack for the next season or so, but we need to stop the home crowd dwindling. _________________ This is the year we win the Play-offs. |

It's an absolute no brainer. He won't improve us and should be shown the door. Time for the board to grow a pair and stop hiding behind a cup win. _________________ If I were a fighter I'd probably kick your ass. |

As I have said in another post on the forum. In the Ramsdens cup, except for Rangers , where we were slated at half time for creating and doing nothing. Who did we beat in that cup that we were not expected to beat anyway. Go part time and bring in the best Part timers in the east of Scotland, cut the debt and rebuild for the future. _________________ Through thick and thin, good and bad. (Even the Iain Munro times). While our results and league position was much better 1st quarter I don't remember our performances being anything great, perhaps we just had more determination and fight which is lacking these days.
Off the top of my head we were heading for defeat when Thomson dived at Cowdenbeath, we were 2-2 deep in 2nd half v Alloa when Kirk missed that total sitter from a couple yards out. Two results against part time sides that finished just below us, could have been disaster had they turned out differently. Around the same time we were hammered at QoS yet somehow kept a clean sheet and won 1-0! |

The football we played was definitely better. We played a nice passing game, with fullbacks overlapping on the wings. We were getting results because we played better football. Admittedly all the games were tight, but they usually are in this league. _________________ This is the year we win the Play-offs. |

Absolute no brainer (though I do HATE that expression!)
I'm sure he's a nice guy, and I don't like to hear of people being made redundant, but he's already done serious harm to the club through either his technical ineptitude (probably at least part of the problem) and inability to man-manage a mixed bunch of big-time-Charlies (well, in their heads they're big time!), and misguided journeymen. They have only managed to play for the TV, and that's a bleedin disgrace for a professional sportsman. They have been utter gash for the vast majority of the season (yes, even much of the first half of the season). If the two halves of the season had been reversed then it could be argued that Murray was learning, and building a team. In fact it seems that he's been destroying us from within, and that cannot be allowed to continue.
Get him out now, so that a replacement has time to sort things out BEFORE we start the uphill struggle that next season undoubtedly will prove to be.
Goodbye Murray. |

7th place finish in this league with the teams this season and the squad available is completely unacceptable. For goodness sake over the whole season we have finished two points above Cowden and Alloa and NINE behind Dumbarton. That is a disgrace.
The team has been a shambles and something is fundamentally wrong that what on paper is a fairly decent squad with a reasonable pedigree is falling so far short of anything bordering on competitive for the large part of the league campaign.
Its stale, insipid and full of malaise.
I agree with Kirky re the big time Charlies. If only they were half as good as they think they are.
As for Murray the Chairman has made his position clear so its pretty academic arguing to the contrary. |

totally fed up. The Ramsden Cup and Scottish Cup aside, this season has been rotten. A better manager would have been contenting the league with the players we had.
After 5 years with a season ticket, I am now seriously considering not renewing it for next season if Murray is still in charge - we need a change. |

I can't believe 10 people have seriously voted to continue with this clown in charge. He's done absolutely nothing to justify it. Finishing 2 points above the relegation play offs is not acceptable considering the quality of the league next season.
There is absolutely no incentive to watch Rovers next season unless there is a change of manager. _________________ If I were a fighter I'd probably kick your ass. |

Make that 11 now...... Some people must enjoy the punishment we have had to endure this season. I for one have had enough and am strongly considering not coming back next season! The amount of times I have walked out of a ground furious at our effort and performance! Not expecting to win every game by any means! However it's the way in which we lose games!!
With certain players only turning up to the "big games" and the other games they put little or no effort in. Not expecting brilliant performances week in, week out. However there have been far too many times this season where certain players only play well when there's tv cameras and the rest of the time looks like they couldn't give a toss!
Worst of all, the clown we have in charge, couldn't change a game to save himself! The amount of times I have shouted get your subs on this season is ridiculous! His tactics are so predictable! It's infuriating watching us under the cosh, when everyone in the stand can see we need a change or the other team will score, and he just let's it go on!!
He deserves credit for the cup performances, but for me, the league is more important and he has failed us miserably in that department! |
