That explains the reason why we've got him. I agree with you regarding Walsh but can't say I'm au fait with Wilson. Not a name that resonates with me.
But hey ho! It is what it is. |
He was the walloper that refereed the Dundee Betfred Game in 2019, total clownshoe of a referee. We've not had him as the main official since mind you, but he's still no better |

That explains why he hasn't been on my radar.
Let's just say that it's been a while!🥺 _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

The Gollum again, oh dear...but his last call was the 1-3 Killie match!
14 real centers, 4-3-7 overall, 3-0-4 at Starks Park. Trend LLLLWLWLDW, highly experienced FIFA ref, 3.1 yellows a match, less than one red in three, and less than one penalty in two,
With regard to Wilson, we're 3-1-1 with him and with Walsh we're 4-2-3...net record better than with Gollum. However, Gollum is much more likely than Wilson to be assigned a "high profile" match, and someowhat better qulaified than Walsh...so we're more likely to be facing tough opponents with Walsh and Gollum. |

Once again, a decent good looking pick for us...last called the Morton match at Starks. Mr. Kirkland has called 6 competative centers, with a record of 5-2-0. Away from Stark's Park, we are 1-1-0 with Steven in the middle.
Kirkland is generally seen calling League One, but has a few Cup matches. 3 yellows a game, a 25% chance of a second yellow, no reds and a penalty every other match. |

A lovely Christmas trifecta...
David Dickinson...4 centers, 3-1-0 overall...2-1-0 away. Form is WWDW. Active at all levels this year, 3 yellows a game, very few double yellows and no reds...rare penalties.
Grant Irvine...4 centers also, 2-1-1 overall...2-1-0 at Starks Park. Form is WDWL. Also active at all levels, less than 2 yellows a match, few reds and penalties.
David Munro...very bad news, 6 centers, 0-2-4 overall...0-0-2 at Starks Park. Form is LDDLLL. Top level ref who seems to hate us...just kidding, its always tough matches he calls. 4 yellows a match, few reds and some penalties. |

Wasn't Munro the Davo/Todorov man in the middle, then the powers that be decided he would be a great appointment to handle the next outing between the two clubs?
Or have I got that wrong?
Quite possibly have. _________________ Talk on! Talk on!

Mr. Robertson, a mixed bag. Total of 17 centers, 7-3-7 overall...6-3-3 away from the friendly confines though. Form is WLWLDDLLWW in last 10.
Solid, high level ref, 3.5 yellows a match, very few reds or penalties. |

However he has performed since, and whatever else he goes on to do as a ref, for me he'll always be remembered as the guy who got four decisions wrong at Glebe Park in our promotion playoff against Brechin - each one resulting in or denying a goal and turning what should have been a comfortable 3-0 victory for Rovers into a 1-1 draw. NOT forgiven. |

Steven McLean, a fairly reasonable one for us (recently). 15 total centers, 7-4-4 overall, and 3-3-3 at Starks Park. History is WLLDDLDWWWLWDWW.
A relatively high level ref with a decent history of few cards. 2.5 yellows a match and only 1 red and 2 penalties in 14 matches. |
