Seeing as the away allocation for category A games includes the terrace opposite the stands theres a chance of seeing some of the pitch 
Its 100 times better than the terracing by the old stand that we have had in the past but which is allocated to Cowden for these games |

If people genuinely can't afford £17 then fair enough but if they are not going because of the extra £2 it's a bit disappointing. In a game like this where the opposition are going to be very fired up we need all the supporters we can get.
Oh and I'll be on the terracing. |

It was a tough choice but I bought my ticket for the terracing today. I'm risking getting wet for the sake of a good view of the pitch.
Are Cowden seriously only giving their home fans the terrace behind the goals and part of the old stand? Their having to pay £2 more than usual and getting shunted to the traditional away section, which is the worst part of the ground. |

Not only that, but I think they will have to do this for every match from now on.
Originally the idea was to change the traditional arrangements only for the 'A' fixtures, us, the Pars, Dundee & Falkirk, and revert to the usual when the 'wee teams came to town.
I think that the police have ordered that arrangements have to stay the same for the whole season. |

Pretty much what I have already said but this is teh official line from Cowdenbeath............
Cowdenbeath fans will enter from the turnstiles at the Chapel Street end for all matches this season. Visiting supporters will come in at the High Street end. The SFL for 1st Division games generally expects clubs to have distinct home and away entrances. The Police wish us to have pre-defined and consistent entry arrangements for all games this season. The intention is to maintain a consistency of turnstile/entry arrangements throughout the season to avoid any confusion. Fans will have the same entry point for all games rather than the more confusing scenario of differing arrangements if the game is segregated or not.
The current segregation plan is for Category A games (v Dundee, Falkirk, Dunfermline and Raith Rovers) to be segregated. The original plan had Cowden fans accommodated in the Chapel Street end and the old stand. This has now had to be altered and visiting fans will also be allotted two thirds of the old stand as well. Cowdenbeath fans will occupy the western third of the old stand plus the Chapel Street end. In all other games, notwithstanding the turnstiles used for entry, there will normally be no segregation. New segregation fencing is required and will be erected (temporary fencing for Saturday but a more permanent version is planned). |

Terracing for me, I was at the Cowden v Alloa play-off game at the end of last season and took a walk round at half time, the view is much better from that side.

I think most people are grudging the price because its the worst ground in the league and you can hardly see the match.
Luckily for me, as its a local derby, that doesn't really matter a jot. |

It's the principle for me, I'm just not paying £17 to watch a Scottish 1st Division match in that ground. When we're all paying £25 a pop in ten years time look back on this game as a time when you could've kept the prices down...
Over-reaction? I remember a very similar kind of thing happening in the 80's/90's that I went along with, and now look what we're stuck with. £19 at Dens, £17 at Central. Football is way overpriced here. |
