The Raith Rovers 200 Club is pleased to announce details of this years fundraising Sports Dinner. This years event will take place in the Beveridge Park Hotel, Kirkcaldy, on Friday 13th March.
Speakers for what we hope will be a great night are ex Scotland goalkeeper and now radio star Alan Rough and Europes first football agent Bill McMurdo. Also appearing and hosting the evening will be Fife's top comedian Bert Allan.
Tickets for this event are £35 which includes a three course meal. A raffle and auction will be held also and we hope to better the sum of £5000 which we raised for Raith Rovers last year.
Should you require tickets or further details please PM me. Tables are limited and this event sold out very quickly so book early and avoid disapointment. |

Wot a sportsmans dinner with no referee talking
I've seen Bert Allan before and he is very funny, although if Roughy has the same wig as he was wearing in Cordoba in 78 that would be even funnier.
I'll bet Bill McMurdo has a story to tell or two about MoJo (and don't mean the Kirkcaldy band)
Put me doon for at least my usual table, maybe twa. |

Not as good a line up as last years. Seems a bit excessive at £35 too. As far the date Friday 13th oh well!!!!! |

Perhaps but the referee was the star turn last year and Macca was a damp squib in comparison.
The line up for the 1st one up at Glenrothes wasn't as exciting looking as last year but for my money proved to be better.
For what it's worth I think this year will be good. I'd imagine Roughy and Bill McMurder will have a few right good tales to tell.
As for it being Friday the 13th, I think they tried to get Ari Lehman but he is busy at a Jason reunion night.
£35 isn't all that bad for a 3 course meal and an evenings entertainment is it? |

Great to hear this is happening again, these are just the kind of events we need to see more of as the money raised is hugely significant to a club of our size and shows what fans can do when they put the effort in. Last years was a great a night.
Hope this gets a good turnout (as always!) and those who have never been to one before give it a go!
With a couple of months till the event, maybe we could get a few posters done up and distributed for supporters to put up at their workplaces etc? _________________ NO FOOTBALL FOR FASCISTS |

Friday nights 200 Club Sports Dinner was a great success, many thanks to all involved. We had approximately 150 people who enjoyed the contributions from both Bill McMurdo and Alan Rough. The evening was hosted by Bert Allan who kept the audience entertained throughout the evening - no-one was safe from his barbed wit
We are hoping to donate a few thousand pounds to the Club in the near future, again thanks to all who supported our venture. |

Brilliant effort!
The efforts of the fans is what makes this football club great and I'd love to see more of these types of fan-organised events. Hopefully this will be acknowledged by the supporters when the cheque is presented. _________________ NO FOOTBALL FOR FASCISTS |
