I love watching Man City playing.
They are worthy European champs and club world champs.
However, if it boils down to, Did they effectively “buy” these awards then they have to pay for it.( no pun intended, but nevertheless,Apt).
The old firm have done the same......BOUGHT trophies by buying teams/ squads that they actually could not afford by fair means.
Revenue acquired by iffy means and or “ creative accounting” then they should be made “ to pay” . ( pun intended ).
There are plenty of clubs in existence through IFFY financial schemes in other countries also.
FIFA/UEFA Themselves have been mired by corruption, and yet it all goes on......1of the Worlds greatest truisms is “ MONEY TALKS”........If you have enough of it.!

Man City have been under investigation for 5 years for breaching the FFP.Claims its because so many charges it takes longer to charge them than Everton or Forest
Aye right
Celtic nor Rangers ……a mean the Scottish FA does not apply FFP regulations as a set of rules

I think everton and forest admitted to the charges (prepared to be corrected) and its all about the punishment thats dealt out.....City have denied all wrong doings and their army of lawyers have tied the proceedings up in knots!

Indeed the did KW but thats still no excuse the length of time its taking to untangle City finances
As you say though,lawyers have the powers that be in knots
