No thread two days before the game so thought I,d start one
Hopefully bag 3 points o keep us clear of those below us and close the gap on those above
As per gaffers pre match interview
Gullan requiring an operation that looks like it ends his season
Millen out and 50/50 for next Sunday
Picked up one or two knocks on unnamed players which could see them miss out
Scott Brown okay along with Ethan Ross _________________ THERES FIVE OF ME |

Wondered if there was a wee offline strop going on in the background or something - no idea why though! Too wee a game maybe?
Hope the players' minds are not having a relaxing lunch in a service station somewhere between Ibrox and Falkirk! Like all league games now, this is a "must win", but the pressure will be right on us in a game that we will be expected to win. Potential banana skin, with Cove now in a very tight spot! COYR! |

I think we can put the lack of interest down to our league campaign fizzling out. There is certainly a significant
financial difference in finishing fifth instead of sixth or seventh but it hardly raises the pulses. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

Can't speak for others but my mind has begun to focus on the Cup Final and the Scotland games.
But I'll be at SP as usual and what I absolutely do not want to see is the type of ( lack of ) performance that was evident in the Partick match before taking on Rangers.
We need to beat Cove, simple as that.
Speculating on the possible injuries/ knocks, McBride could be one and Masson the other, but could be anyone. Hoping none of Goncalves, LV and Akio is out, and that at least one of them has his shooting boots on !I
Scott Brown being back is a positive and an injury-free Ethan Ross should feature from the bench.

Well that’s us left to play everyone once more. Serious long shot but play-offs still within touching distance but likely gone if we can’t win on Saturday.
Our next three league fixtures are all at home v Cove, Queens Pk and Hamilton… 9 points (minimum 7) and we are still in their fighting.
Cove are in a fight for survival so they are going to be up for it, we need to match that and hopefully our extra quality sees us through. |

I’d go with:
McDonald
Nolan Lang Dick
Brown
Ross Spencer Stanton Connolly
Vaughan
Fingers crossed Vaughan and Ross are fit… _________________ RIP RONNIE |

I hope IM has ironed out any Billy-Big-Time thinking, anti-climax-factor and any players who might see this game as a cushie number or a wee rest.
Getting all of them motivated must be a nightmare, but it is what he has to do. Anything other than a win today would undo a whole lot of progress and would cost the club a lot of money. |

I'm out of the country right now, so plan to watch online for the first time in absolutely ages.
Could someone do me the favour of reminding me of the process? I've just now signed in to RaithTV with the account details I've had for yonks (last season anyway), and click on RaithTV button underneath the Audio option, to find a network error. I'm hoping that's judt because it's early yet so the guys aren't online (maybe at 2.50 they will be?)
But I just thought to check with anyone on here in the know if there is any other step I need to take....
Thanks in advance for any response to put my mind at rest! |

Not as much as you’d think. The big jump is between fifth and fourth.
Here’s the 2019 payout matrix, and while the £’s will have changed a bit, the percentages have not:
Ladbrokes Championship
1st - 2.25% - £562,500
2nd - 1.90% - £475,000
3rd - 1.60% - £400,000
4th - 1.30% - £325,000
5th - 1.00% - £250,000
6th - 0.90% - £225,000
7th - 0.85% - £212,500
8th - 0.80% - £200,000
9th - 0.75% - £187,500
10th - 0.70% - £175,000
So the big jump is 4-5, a smaller bump between 5-6, and bumpkus 6-10. |

Someone got an idea…looks like
MacDonald
Nolan/Lang/Dick
Brown/Spencer
McGill/Stanton/Easton
Gonçaves/Vaughan
With the question being where Vaughan is…Connolly is out, as is the Millen absence…McBride misses too. |
