I'm very much in the John McGlynn camp and I really hope that the man who has brought stability and some success to the club over two spells can be persuaded to stay.
Far better the man you know than going off into the unknown not being too sure how things are going to turn out.

I'm with you all you say above Embow.

I was heartened to hear from Graeme Kilgour radio show on Saturday that negotiations for him to stay were at an advanced stage? Let's hope the Record have it wrong!

Either way, it would be good for the club to get out ahead of this if they can and make some kind of announcement or update. If it was “done” before Saturday maybe it was without the club knowing? At the end of the day he was out of contract and can speak to whoever he wants.

I’d love him to stay but if not, good luck to him. I’m guessing Paul Smith would head off to Falkirk too?

As far as a replacement I’ll get killed for saying this on here but Ray McKinnon with Berra as assistant.

So that will be after McKinnon recovers from the heart attack he had at the weekend?

I didnt realise that had happened to be honest.

I tend not to keep up to date with the ongoing health of each football personality kicking about

If thats him gone I guess we can say bye bye to Tumilty, Bene, Musonda, Spencer, andMcKay, unless Smith stays with us but will most likely follow McGlynn

It would be surprising if RT and Brad Spencer wanted to drop down a division. Mind you, in Brad's case, he was very fulsome in his praise of JMcG in the Courier but it was odd reading (he himself being out of contract) ,unless he had knowledge of JMcG's intentions and knew he had a contract under JMcG ,wherever he was to be.Brad could not be sure that any new Raith manager
would re-sign him.

Would Matej wish to drop down yet another level (from Livi ) Raith 2020,
considering you are adamant that you know the inside story?

Personally, I hope that the matter is still ongoing and that JMcG stays, along with Smudger.

If you look at his and Falkirks Wiki page it states he is now the manager of Falkirk l.

I'd say it's done now

You do know that anyone can edit a Wiki page.

If you look at their official site (which can't be doctored) there's nothing about John McGlynn (yet).

Wiki, the font of all knowledge, not.

Is RT not tapped to go to St Mirren. Sure I read that somewhere.
