These two appear to have sunk without trace. McKeown played one game for Accrington Stanley in the English version of the challenge cup after signing on a non contract basis but has presumably been released as he didn't even appear to have made a match day squad since.
Likewise Harry signed for Barrow but I don't think he has even made the bench yet.
While neither of them were anything special you'd have thought things would've gone better for them than this. _________________ If I were a fighter I'd probably kick your ass. |

I agree that they weren't anything special, (like a lot of players at this level) but I was a bit disappointed that Rory didn't sign for us in the summer as I thought he settled in well last year after an indifferent first season. And of course Harry came across as a decent genuine guy who gave it his best shot and for me at least will be remembered for scoring the equaliser against THE rangers (we'll forget about the penalty just before) and stopping the party celebrations, at least until the following Tuesday.
Anyway good luck to them both and hope things work out in the future. |

From what I read about Rory at the time was that his partners business was ran from Liverpool and was looking for a move in that direction. Accrington being in that general area. |

Harry seemed to be a very likeable chap and I actually thought he improved the more he played for us. When he came on as a sub against hibs at Easter road in the play offs was the best I saw him play for us. As for McKeown, well all the best to the guy but I actually think it turned out alright for us as I rate McHattie higher than I do Rory. _________________ Fantalk~Often wrong but never in doubt |

Rory and Harry will be lining up against each other in the next couple of weeks. Southport v Barrow, Harry is being seen as a project player while Rory is hoping to debut tomorrow after 5 weeks at Warrington Town.
I wish them both nothing but the best. Hope to catch a game when we have a free week. |

I'm just shocked that an ever present in a side that reached the play offs in the second tier of Scottish football can't get a team better than the equivalent of the juniors in England! It shows just how poor our game is in comparison. _________________ Nothing to see here... |

Me too. I rated Rory highly and miss his attacking prowess and stout defending. |
